Chapter 688: Opening up even more meridians?

Damon adjusted his grip slightly, his expression sharpening as he made his decision.

Originally, he had planned to stop after opening a single meridian for each of them, just enough to stimulate growth, just enough to test the waters.

Rushing advancement like this was dangerous even for elites, let alone people he cared about. The human body needed time to adapt. Meridians weren’t doors meant to be kicked open all at once.

But the reality unfolding in front of him forced him to reconsider. All three of them were handling things surprisingly well. It looked like their special constitution was not for nothing.

Lirae and Aurora were unique races with a lot of special latent potential. Kate might not have any unique bloodline but she was a blood follower of Damon, personally converted by him.

Damon was not sure how much exactly something like that would help her as she only received some bonus stats in the beginning for becoming his follower. But now it seemed like there were more hidden benefits.

Damon exhaled slowly. Seeing how well they were adapting, he decided not to stop at just one meridian each.

"Listen carefully," he said, voice calm but firm as he looked at the three women in turn. "I’m going to open more meridians. This will accelerate your growth, but it will also be heavier on your bodies. If at any point something feels wrong, you tell me immediately. No pushing through pain."

Aurora grinned, confidence shining in her eyes. "Hubby, I feel amazing. Do whatever you want."

Lirae nodded her head, crimson eyes steady. "I trust you completely, my love."

Kate swallowed, then nodded, her gaze unwavering. "I won’t hold you back, Damon."

That was all the confirmation he needed. Damon patiently continued the same process over and over, slowly breaking open all of their meridians in their hands and legs.

While this was going on, a couple more figures walked over to the secluded grotto. It was none other than Meira, Phoenix and Sylvara. The three women walked into a scene that was nothing short of a porn shooting site.

But before Damon was forced to explain the awkward situation, Aurora chimed in with a big smile. "Hubby... I hope you don’t mind.
