Other than those two skills, he had also obtained a couple more interesting and questionable skills.
[Crimson Edict: Allows the user to issue a blood-bound command to all beings with active blood circulation within range. Targets of lower blood purity or weaker will instinctively obey, experiencing overwhelming pressure to comply. Stronger targets suffer hesitation, mana disruption, or forced blood agitation. The skill scales with bloodline dominance.]
This was a mass mind control skill that could come in handy in some situations. At worst, he could use it to stun or disrupt stronger foes. The fact that the skill was able to scale with his bloodline was a good bonus.
Damon then gazed at the next skill.
[Blood Rebirth: If slain within a blood-rich environment, the user may reconstruct their body from ambient blood mist once. The skill restores body and bloodline integrity. The resurrection causes severe stat and soul penalties.]
This was another skill Damon was quite excited about. With a lot of stronger beings behind him, he needed a skill like this for unexpected surprises. Technically, he also had his blood clone, which he could use in the situation. But this would give him two ultimate escape skills.
More importantly, he could combine these skills with the next new skill he obtained.
[Blood shapeshift: Allows the user to freely restructure their physical form using blood essence as the medium. The body may be reshaped, compressed, dispersed, or reconfigured into alternate biological or semi-biological forms while retaining core abilities and bloodline authority. The user may imitate creatures they have consumed blood from or design adaptive forms on the fly.]
While changing his physical body wouldn’t give him that much advantage in a fight, it gave him a lot of strategic options. He could essentially wear the face of anyone he had consumed until now. As long as he hid his aura, he could even infiltrate the light faction camps and spy on the super guilds.
However, the most important benefit would be to shapeshift into a trivial creature. As long as he used Blood Rebirth or substituted his body with his blood clone, he could always shapeshift into something trivial and make his opponent believe that he had truly perished.
Though Damon did not plan anyone or anything to push him to such an extent, it was still a scenario that might very well come true. Finally, there was also another skill he had gained.
[Blood Thrall: Allows the user to bind a target through blood, branding them as a blood-bound thrall. Thralls retain their original personality and intelligence but instinctively recognize the user as their absolute superior and god. The strength of control scales with bloodline dominance.]
The skill didn’t overwrite the mind outright, nor did it turn the target into a mindless puppet. Instead, it rewired hierarchy, placing Damon at the very top of the thrall’s instincts, somewhere deeper than loyalty.
As long as his soul and bloodline could bear the load, Damon could create multiple thralls. He could create powerful ones, commanders, and spies embedded deep within enemy factions. Even if a thrall was killed, the memories and impressions carried through the bond would return to him before the connection snapped.
