Surrender To Us, Our Luna (One Luna, Four Alphas) novel Chapter 516

Chapter 516: 516-Giving Him Attitude

Fauna:

"What is this disrespect? You accepted my daughter without my permission?" my father shouted.

By then, it was already too late. Not just because Haiden had accepted me, but because I had heard everything.

He had not come to save me. He had come to reject me.

That realization numbed my mind.

"You do not get to decide what I do," Haiden replied sharply.

Ian stepped closer and stood beside me.

"Are you okay?" he asked gently.

I nodded, even though I was not okay at all. My body was bruised, and my heart was shattered.

"It is all right now. No one will hurt you," the Headmaster said as he stood beside his son. ๐˜ง๐˜ณ๐˜ฆโ„ฏ๐“Œ๐˜ฆ๐’ท๐˜ฏ๐‘œ๐‘ฃ๐˜ฆ๐“.๐’ธ๐˜ฐ๐“‚

"Oh really? Then leave. I do not want to see your faces right now," my father shouted loudly enough to make my body tremble.

But I noticed something. My fatherโ€™s shouting rarely affected other men. He could only unleash his anger on me, my sister, and my mother. It never worked the same way on men.

"We are not here to stay," Haiden said calmly. "But remember this. I will come back. This is only the beginning. I will take my pack back from you."

As soon as he said that, he stepped toward me and took my hand.

"Letโ€™s go," he told Ian and the Headmaster.

My eyes remained fixed on my mother and my sister. I knew I had to leave.

They could not leave with me. Taking the Alphaโ€™s wife or daughter without his permission would have been considered a grave offense.

But Haiden had just declared he would return for the crown. That meant my father would not be able to hold them hostage for long.

My body suddenly weakened. Haiden caught me quickly and pulled me into his arms to support me.

After everything I had endured that night, the moment I realized I could finally let go, my body gave in. I blacked out.

When I woke up again, I was in a car. It felt like they had been driving for a long time and had stopped for a break.

"Fauna, are you okay?" Ian asked. He was the first to notice I was awake. He was standing outside the car.

It looked like they had been eating. Maybe it was their break time.

As soon as he spoke, everyone looked into the car.

I slowly stepped out.

The moment I saw Haiden, he looked away.

I understood then. He had not accepted me willingly. He had simply had no other choice.

"Are you feeling better?" the Headmaster asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yes. I am feeling much better," I replied politely.

Then Haiden turned toward me as if he wanted to say something. He looked like he was preparing himself to ask a question.

But I cut him off and turned to Ian instead.

"Has Clementine been found yet?" I asked, completely ignoring Haiden.
