Chapter 420 The Shadow Spirit Hood
Next was the private message panel.
Two avatars were flashing in her DMs.
One was Tartking.

She was obviously still dead to the world, having just sent an exaggerated drooling emoji to report in safe before crashing, followed by a message. “Burger, I made it home! Gonna go pass out now!”
The other flashing avatar was Pineapple Beer.
Tapping into the chat, a system chime rang out, and a trade request window popped straight up.
“Player ‘Pineapple Beer‘ has initiated a trade: Shadow Spirit Hood Blueprint x1, Leather x5, Refined Steel Ingots x5, Basic Enchanting Thread x2, Beast Sinew x5, Shadow Crystals x10, and Material
ubstitution Card (Advanced) x1.”
A message was attached below:
“Riley, when you wake up, see if you have time to hammer out this headpiece for me. Got pretty lucky–the mats I hoarded plus our recent rewards were just enough to cover the requirements for this purple blueprint, and none of them are super rare. I checked my gear, and I’ve got every slot covered except for a decent headpiece. This ‘Shadow Spirit Hood‘ comes with built–in night vision and a +5% crit rate, so I won’t have to second–guess swapping it out once it’s done.
“As for that Material Substitution Card, I was originally keeping it as a backup for any missing rare mats. Since I have enough now, 1 don’t need it. Take it
your crafting fee.”

Riley couldn’t help but chuckle softly after reading the message.
A Material Substitution Card was incredibly valuable right now.
Many top–tier blueprints were often bottlenecked by a single, insanely rare proprietary material. This card bypassed all material restrictions and directly filled in the missing gaps, yet PineappleBeer just casually tossed it over as a “crafting fee.”
Given their relationship, Riley would have gladly crafted it for free without a second thought. But since PineappleBeer was already offering compensation, Riley wasn’t going to awkwardly reject it. Good friends didn’t need to be overly polite about these things.

So Riley directly tapped “Accept” and shot back a quick reply, “Got it. I’ll hammer it out when I’m fee and send it over. Trust my RNG, maybe I’ll even roll a god–tier bonus stat on it for you.”
This was another huge advantage to Riley crafting the gear. Thanks to her tool room, any equipment she made had a very high chance of rolling with extra bonus stats.
Closing the panel, Riley walked out into the living room.
It was dead quiet.
The fireplace was still roaring.
Riley grabbed a few blueberry muffins from the dining table to pad her stomach and heated up a glass of milk.
Sipping her hot milk, she glanced around but didn’t see Neeko anywhere She was probably dead tired and still sleeping, the bottle

The thing that surprisediley

most, however, was her mimicry ability. Riley had seen with her own eyes how Neeko perfectly
copied her appearance, even fully replicating her raw strength and weapons.
Even though she couldn’t maintain it for long periods, as long as they utilized it properly, it was guaranteed to be ridiculously useful down the line.
After filling her stomach, Riley pushed open the door and stepped out into the yard.
The ruined lot to the left of the main house had completely transformed.
Twiggy’s construction speed was as terrifying as ever. In just five hours, an exact replica of the original cabin had sprung up from the ground.
The main frame and the roof were already fully sealed; only the interior remained unfinished.
