Then, Riley rapidly tapped out an announcement on her virtual keyboard.

“Guild–Wide Announcement (Leader: SpicyBurger): After enduring a life–and–death struggle, our two guilds have been reborn from the ashes. Although NorthWind, the former vice–leader of the Drifters Alliance, couldn’t formally join Hope Guild with the rest of us due to personal reasons, he still stands with us in spirit. To help everyone from the Drifters Alliance better integrate into Hope Guild, I hereby appoint Hanna as a ‘Core Member‘ of Hope Guild. Additionally, to recognize outstanding performance during the defensive siege, the following members are promoted to ‘Elite Members‘: Stool, Chips, Felix, and LoneSparrow. Everyone who enters Hope Guild is family. Let’s keep up the great work!”
The moment this announcement went out, the previously quiet guild channel completely blew up again.
The title of “Core Member” held massive weight. It even granted permission to manage the supplies in the guild warehouse, representing an incredibly high level of trust.
Meanwhile.
Far away on the other side of the snowfield, Hanna had just finished clearing out the wandering monsters near her camp and reinforcing her perimeter defenses. She was sitting cross–legged on her bed, tallying up her loot for the day.
When the system chime rang in her ears and she saw the announcement, she was instantly stunned.
What the hell? How did I suddenly become a Core Member?
The sudden promotion made the usually carefree and boisterous Hanna feel a bit awkward. She quickly opened Riley’s DMs to get some context.
“Boss! I just joined Hope Guild. Isn’t making me a Core Member a bit… rushed?” Hanna messaged.
In the main house, Riley smiled as she read the message.
Her fingers danced lightly over the keyboard as she replied, “Not at all, Hanna. Once you step through the door, we’re all family. Don’t stress over it. Everyone from the Drifters Alliance trusts you, and you’re incredibly reliable. With NorthWind gone, and the Drifters having just merged into a new environment, they’re naturally gonna feel a bit insecure. They need one of their own to stand up and have their backs, and we need a bridge to help them integrate with the veteran members.”

Sitting on her bed, a wave of warmth washed over Hanna. Any lingering apprehensions she had about living under someone else’s roof vanished completely into thin air after reading Riley’s heartfelt words.
Just as she was about to type out a formal promise, Riley sent another message.
It was a chibi–style sticker that absolutely clashed with Riley’s usual persona.
A little sun holding up a heart.
Below it was a text message, “Hanna, thanks for those Grape Seeds you gave them earlier. The vineyard is already on the agenda. Once we brew the first barrel of wine, I’ll definitely call you
over.”
Looking at the cute sticker and the incredibly down–to–earth message.
For some reason, Hanna, who was just feeling a surge of hot–blooded dedication, suddenly burst out laughing.
“Turns out the boss is just a normal, sweet girl after all,” Hanna muttered to herself, then typed out a joking reply.
“You got it! If you don’t give me the first sip, I’m gonna riot! Hahaha.”
In the dining room of the main house, Riley finished her dinner right as she sorted out Hanna’s permissions.
She was just about to clear the table when Neeko came over to help.
The two quickly cleaned up, and TartKing headed out of the camp toward the guild base to have that chat with NorthWind.
Having just eaten, Riley decided to take a stroll before finishing up her promised crafting commissions and going to bed.
She and Neeko headed out through the side corridor to the pet rest house. Pushing open the wooden door, she saw that the room–which had been blasted into ruins by the newly born Variant Flame Wolf’s “dual–colored fire breath“-had already been perfectly rebuilt by Twiggy using the materials she provided.
Not only that, but the details were even more exquisite than before. The walls were covered in a faintly glowing, luminescent moss. God knows where Twiggy found that.
