The first–floor hall was expertly divided into two massive sections, left and right, both lined with towering wooden shelves packed with countless wooden cubbies.
The left side was the Survival Supplies Zone. Mountains of wood, stone, and coal were categorized and stacked neatly on the massive racks. Across from that were crates of potatoes, various fruits, strips of smoked meat, and barrels of filtered drinking water.
The right side was the Magical Supplies Zone. The shelves here flickered with multicolored glows. There were Magic Beast Cores radiating freezing air, suspiciously colored magic potions in glass vials, and bizarre materials dropped by various monsters.
Right now, two people were running around the warehouse, so busy their feet barely touched the ground.
In the Survival Supplies Zone on the left, a petite, sweet–looking girl with twin–tails was holding a wooden clipboard, scribbling furiously. At the same time, she was depositing incoming supplies into the storage cubbies. Once selected, the items in her hands turned into streaks of light and vanished into storage.
Her name was RedBean, a Hope Guild member temporarily assigned to organize inventory.
Over in the Magical Supplies Zone on the right, ToxicReaper, adjusting his black–rimmed glasses, was busy sorting materials.
“Riley! Vice–Leader!”
RedBean had sharp eyes. Spotting Riley and the others walking in, she immediately dropped her ledger and trotted over, her crisp voice echoing in the cavernous warehouse. “You’re finally back! Everyone brought in way too much loot today. Me and Reaper are losing our minds trying to sort it all!”
ToxicReaper looked up, pushed his slipping glasses up his nose, and warmly greeted the trio.
Riley was just about to ask what was going on when NorthWind stepped in to explain.
“Members without sufficient permissions have to rely on this clunky method to deposit or withdraw supplies. They can’t just open a UI and one–click stash everything. Having someone categorize it makes management easier, especially for standard, non–magical daily supplies. Plus, with the guilds merging recently, the inventory is a total mess, so I asked Reaper to grab someone to help sort it.
“The core items–like props and gear–are on the second floor. There aren’t that many of

them, and they’re easy to categorize, so we don’t need to sort them right now.”
“Thanks for the hard work,” Riley said.
With everyone chipping in, being the guild leader was actually a pretty stress–free gig.

Since she was here, Riley wasn’t about to just stand around. She started helping PineappleBeer inventory the new supplies. NorthWind wanted to help too, but since he was technically a member of a different guild, even with granted permissions, he was restricted to absolute basics. He could enter the building, but he couldn’t interact with the warehouse system at all, let alone deposit or withdraw items.
“By the way, NorthWind, you hauled all the Drifters‘ old supplies over here, but you’ve got a lot more mouths to feed now. Do you have enough to cover everyone?” Riley asked, turning her head while placing items into the shelves according to the tags.
“Yeah, we’re good. I kept a portion of the survival supplies and food–definitely enough to go around. I also held onto some reward items, mats, and gear, which will be enough to cover short–term incentives. I’ve already set up the reward and punishment system. If we need more later, I’ll put in a request with TartKing and haul it over from the Hope Guild warehouse. Good thing the bases are right next to each other,” NorthWind replied.
He had clearly moved past his previous grief and was fully back in the zone.
“Good.” Riley nodded, her mind at ease.
As time ticked by, the last sliver of daylight was swallowed by the darkness, and the temperature took an absolute nosedive.
When the group finally walked out of the warehouse, it was pitch black outside, and massive, goose–feather snowflakes were dumping from the sky.
Thud! Thud!
The heavy thumps of hammers echoed through the blizzard.
At the very edge of the campfire’s radius in Riley’s camp, several guild members were swinging sledgehammers, driving thick, sharpened logs deep into the frozen earth.
Behind them, TartKing was casting stamina–recovery buffs.
A circular, low fence made of logs and thick wooden planks was taking shape along the edge of the campfire’s reach at a visible speed.
The fence wasn’t very high–only about four feet–so it couldn’t stop large monsters. Its
