Chapter 441 The Winemaker’s Blueprint
Riley closed the panel and pushed open her bedroom door.
Shifting her focus back to simply surviving suited her perfectly.
She pulled some bread from her Inventory and heated up some milk for breakfast.
Not long after, hearing the noise, Neeko pushed her door open too.
“Morning, Riley!” Neeko rubbed her sleepy eyes.
“Morning, Neeko. You didn’t party too late last night, did you?” Riley handed her the warm toast and milk.

“Nope. We played for a bit, then TartKing told everyone to wrap it up and get some sleep. People were actually looking for you. Why’d you sneak back so early?”
“Me? PineappleBeer and I aren’t huge fans of massive crowds, so we headed back first,” Riley answered casually, already planning out her day.
There were no major system events right now, so the only thing to do was hoard resources. She figured she’d craft some gear, mine some coal, and maybe join the guild members on a few quests if she had time.
Although the natives took shifts mining the open–pit coal mine outside the camp and regularly hauled it to the temporary warehouse Riley set up…
Limited by their physical stamina and tools, the natives could only mine a few dozen units a day.
Riley’s camp burned through coal pretty fast, and the coal mined by the other survivors mostly went to the guild base and the public warehouse. So, Riley planned to take Neeko to the mine today to stock up her private stash.
After breakfast.
Riley walked in front, with Neeko dragging a sled behind her. The two were just heading toward the coal mine when two people blocked their path.
It was Joseph the blacksmith and Lily the winemaker.
Joseph looked a bit fidgety, while Lily, who was usually incredibly shy, uncharacteristically kept her head up, her eyes burning with intense stubbornness. She was clutching a yellowed parchment scroll tightly against her chest.
“My Lady, apologies for the interruption.” Lily gave a slight curtsy.
Riley stopped. “What’s up?”
“I need your help with something… regarding the winery,” Lily bit her lip and offered the parchment. “You mentioned that once our Iced Grapes mature, we’d build a brewing workshop. I stayed up all night drawing these blueprints for the workshop. Please take a look.”
Riley raised an eyebrow, taking the parchment and unrolling it.
One glance, and a look of genuine surprise crossed her face.

The parchment was densely packed with a cross–section of a building that had at least three floors. The first floor was the Grape Sorting and Crushing Zone, detailing a specific type of washing vat. The second floor was the Temperature–Controlled Fermentation Room, with several temperature control nodes sketched in fine, mosquito–leg–like lines, explicitly marking the required temperatures. The basement was an Oak Barrel Aging Cellar over 15 feet deep, detailing everything down to the angle of the ventilation shafts and the materials for the light–blocking walls.
“You want to build a brewing workshop?” Riley looked up at Lily.
“Yes… My Lady, these are just the absolute bare minimum standards for brewing High Court Iced Wine!” Lily explained frantically. “Iced grapes demand extremely strict temperatures and environments. If we just throw together a random wooden shack, the wine will turn sour, and it’ll lose the soul of High Court! That would be an absolute desecration of the ingredients!”
