“What’s the status of the rest of the guild? Riley asked coldly as she stepped onto the platform and vaulted atop the wall.
“A bunch of members reported they’re surrounded! Their camps are under attack!” NorthWind quickly replied.
“Alright.” Riley nodded and instantly opened the guild management channel.
[SpicyBurger: This is an abnormal monster riot! If your personal camp is heavily fortified and you have the strength, report to the guild teleportation hall immediately for standby. Be ready to reinforce others. If your defenses are weak, prioritize survival! Don’t hoard materials; secure your base first and wait for backup.]
Message sent, Riley executed a double–jump straight off the seven–foot wooden wall, landing on the outside of the barricade.
Instantly, countless monsters swapped targets and surged toward her like a tidal wave.
“Riley, what are you doing?! It’s swarming out there!” TartKing screamed in shock.
Riley didn’t look back. The moment she landed, she bent her knees slightly, torqued her waist, and stomped hard into the ground.
The earth instantly erupted with two terrifying shockwaves, accompanied by a piercing screech and a halo of crackling electricity.
This strike carved a perfect vacuum zone into the dense horde of Ghouls, instantly obliterating a large chunk of the monsters.
“These low–tier mobs aren’t strong, but someone has to draw their aggro out here to take the pressure off the wall. I’ll pull them in; you guys pick them off! The rest of you, reinforce the critical sections of the line,” Riley’s voice drifted back clearly from the center
of the swarm.
The defense line was way too long. If they just hid behind the wall, the sheer volume of blood–crazed monsters would eventually collapse it.
Someone had to be the nail driven into the ground outside, disrupting their offensive to relieve the perimeter.
The high–stat survivors, having undergone massive numerical upgrades, found handling these low–tier mobs relatively easy. They could tag–team the offensive outside.
With Riley leading the charge, the others fought with renewed vigor, unleashing a barrage of attacks over the wall. The Ghouls and Skeleton Archers were temporarily held at bay.
While TartKing provided ranged support, waves of warm, golden light rained down on the surrounding area.
The survivors were obviously used to this, but to the natives fighting for their lives, it was a literal miracle.
Hank, whose muscles had been cramping from extreme exertion, felt a rush of warmth flood his body. The soreness vanished instantly, and power surged back into his arms.
“Praise My Lady! Praise the Holy Maiden!” Old Hank roared, his vicious strength returning as he skewered a half–bodied Ghoul trying to squeeze through a gap.
After repelling the initial wave, Neeko and the Flame Wolf arrived at the front lines. The wolf tore through the horde like they were nothing. As it relentlessly ripped and bit, Riley could even sense it steadily growing larger.

But the perimeter was simply too vast.

The circular low barricade and wooden wall built to encompass all the native cabins stretched out over a thousand yards.
Riley, PineappleBeer, and LoneWolf had vaulted outside, but no matter how terrifying their combat power was, they were just playing firefighter, sprinting back and forth across the massive frontline.
They shredded one batch, and another immediately surged forward like a rising tide.
Seeing a section of the barricade near the coal mine about to give way, Riley raised her axes to intercept. Suddenly, a bizarre humming noise echoed over the entire battlefield.
It wasn’t the wind. It was an incredibly sharp, high–frequency vibration.
Right as Riley prepared to use Charge, a blinding white light erupted beneath her feet without warning. The light burst directly from within her body, instantly engulfing her entirely.
“What the hell?!”
Riley ground to a halt. She looked down, realizing the edges of her hands were rapidly turning transparent, fading away.
She snapped her head up, scanning the area in shock.
It wasn’t just her. PineappleBeer, TartKing, NorthWind, LoneWolf… every single player in Hope Guild was erupting with the same white light simultaneously.
