Chapter 501 The Fall of the Hound Alliance
Chapter 501 The Fall of the Hound Alliance
Every last escape route was completely severed.
Even so, MadBone refused to admit defeat easily. He was dead set on testing Riley’s true strength.
Mid–sprint, he raised his giant blade high and slashed straight toward her.
This was exactly what Riley wanted. She clashed her twin axes together, meeting the strike head–on.

Riley stumbled back two steps before steadying herself in an instant. The tide of battle flipped in a heartbeat. She hooked her right axe forward and brought her left axe crashing toward MadBone’s face.
That single blow wiped every trace of false hope from MadBone’s mind.
Her strength is absurdly high. Has she fully geared up with a full set of orange–tier equipment?
The overwhelming force sent MadBone flying backward. The world blurred past his eyes as he was hurled straight back into the bone prison, trapped with nowhere left to run.
“Stop! Don’t come any closer! It’s all a misunderstanding!”
His voice shook with terror as Riley advanced steadily toward him. Trembling, he fumbled a silver scroll pulsing with spatial energy. He fixated entirely on Riley, desperate to activate the scroll and flee–completely unaware a crossbow had already locked onto his
back.
Before he could crush the scroll to trigger its teleportation, a bolt/tore through the air toward him.
A burst of silver light wrapped around his body, rendering his form translucent for a split second. But the moment he began to levitate, a dull thud rang out. Three armor–piercing bolts slammed into his body. He was flung back like a limp corpse and crashed heavily onto the stone platform.
The teleportation light shattered completely. MadBone froze on the ground, cold dread seeping into his bones as he ignored his fresh wounds.
“Run. Why don’t you run now?”
A frigid, icy voice echoed right beside his ear.
MadBone lifted his head stiffly to find Riley standing before him, having leaped over the scattered bone fragments without a sound.
He could have fought back. But the sudden, brutal shift in power left him utterly stunned and unable to accept his defeat.
Riley stared down at him coldly, throwing his own earlier arrogant words straight back at him.
“You wanted my head so badly? Tell me who’s the dog now?”
“I’m the dog! I’ll hand over all my supplies! Everything! Spare me, it’s all just a misunderstanding!”
MadBone scrambled to his feet, begging frantically.

He’d misjudged his enemies badly. Twenty of his men had failed to take down seven foes. It was just his bad luck. He could bend and survive. He could start over from nothing.
He kept telling himself that. But his so–called flexibility was nothing more than an excuse. He bullied the weak when he held power, and groveled when defeated. A man like this had no right to live.
Riley gave him no chance to finish his pleas. She raised her axes and struck.
MadBone had no opening to defend himself against her relentless assault.
His body dissipated into countless specks of light within a second.
The glowing specks swirled together and condensed into a single Loot Orb resting on the stone platform.
The remaining dozen ambushers watched the scene unfold, their last shred of resolve crumbling to dust.
They were nothing but a disorderly mob with no true unity. With their leader dead, the Hound Alliance members scattered at once.
Abandoning all formation and discipline, they scrambled madly through the gaps in their own encirclement, fleeing in blind panic.
Ketchup, Desk and the rest of their team seized the moment to counterattack and give chase, no longer struggling to hold their ground.
Hanna and LoneWolf fought with bloodlust, determined not to let a single enemy escape.
A ruthless glint flashed in Hanna’s eyes. She shot forward like a loosed arrow, her sword slicing through the air.
