Chapter 529 Purple Crystal Ore
His words dimmed the faint relief of their reunion.
Riley shook her head.
“Not yet.”
LoneSparrow’s expression turned grim.
It was not good news, but at least seven more teammates were back with them.
Hope Guild’s strength on Floor 9 was finally rebuilding.
RedBean quickly integrated the new arrivals into the team formation and redistributed potions and crossbow bolts.

Damian, badly injured, was placed in the mid–back line for protection. Felix had burned through most of his supplies, but his explosives were useful in tricky terrain. Hanna assigned him a safe, guarded position in the formation.
LoneSparrow handed over all the loot his group had collected along the way.
“Shell fragments, rat tail vouchers, hardened ape claws… and this.”
He held out a piece of ore glowing with faint purple light.
[Bone–White Crystal Ore]
[Rank: Purple. Rare Material]
[Description: A special resource found only in Floor 9’s mineral zones. Used for armor enhancement, ancient structure repairs, and unique trap crafting.]
Bruce’s eyes lit up the second he saw it.
“A purple–grade material?”
LoneSparrow nodded.
“It dropped from the mineral wall back there. We didn’t mine it. When we fought the apes, we cracked open a hidden niche and found a few pieces inside.”
Riley took the ore and examined it briefly.
This rare purple material was far more valuable than the elastic tongue tendons they’d gotten earlier. They couldn’t craft anything with it right now, but once they left the dungeon, the workshop would definitely find a use for it.
She handed the crystal ore to RedBean for logging.
“Store all special drops centrally. We’ll divide everything after we clear the dungeon.”
LoneSparrow’s group had no complaints.
Just being alive and reunited was reward enough for them.

The team took a short break behind the statue.
RedBean kept trying to contact the remaining members with lit names
Two more of Dayshift’s four members still hadn’t replied, though their status lights stayed up, meaning they were still alive for the time being.
A few other guild members were too far for steady comms. Their messages came through broken and sporadic. One member mentioned seeing “upside–down bell–shaped pillars” and “black water pools” nearby, but they couldn’t pinpoint their exact
location.
Riley refused to adjust their route blindly.
They’d just regrouped seven more people. The team was larger, but also carried more injuries. The entire map of Floor 9 was still unknown. Splitting up to chase every vague distress signal was far too risky.
She organized all the intel they had.
“We keep advancing as a full unit. Our priority is finding members with clear landmarks. Anyone stuck in an unknown area needs to stay put and find landmarks.”
“Got it,” RedBean replied.
Hanna looked at Riley.
“Which way next?”
LoneWolf had already scouted the area around the statue.
“Three paths ahead. Left is thick with mineral shells and covered in claw prints. Middle is wide with heavy drag marks on the ground. Right has the most mushroom lamps. No fresh blood trails, but definite human footprints from other survivors.”
RedBean cross–checked with the comm logs immediately.
“The two members from Dayshift’s group said their area has tons of mushroom lamps and a broken stone pavilion. The right path matches their description best.”
Riley scanned the team.
“We’re going right.”
She paused and added a strict reminder.
“Move slowly. The monsters drop good loot, but don’t pull extra fights for materials. Our only goal is regrouping, not farming.
“Keep an eye out for treasure rooms and special items along the way. We should find a full floor map.”
No one argued.
The recent string of fights had taught them a clear lesson. Great rewards didn’t matter if you didn’t live to take them.
They also desperately needed a map to locate Floor 9’s central hall and figure out how to advance to the next level.
Hope Guild set off again.
