Chapter 565 Bell Hall Puzzle Trials
Chapter 565 Bell Hall Puzzle Trials
Riley glanced around the circular bell hall.
The silence here was almost suffocating.

Twelve copper bells hung high overhead.
No two bells were the same size or condition. Some had chipped edges, some were missing their clappers entirely. Others were etched with fine thin lines, or coated in thick layers of copper rust.
Twelve copper slots on the floor spread out from the central stone platform, like a tangled s of puzzle circuits.
Several copper shards lay scattered along the platform’s edge.
Some were whole and intact.
Some had broken corners.
A few were marked with one single line, while others had three.
Riley quickly got the gist of it.
This dungeon didn’t give you clear hints to follow.
You had to observe first, guess the rules, and figure things out through trial and error.
Mistakes wouldn’t get you killed straight away, but they wasted time, spawned monsters, and even messed up the progress.
Pineapple Beer spoke up. “We think the twelve bells match twelve different spots. The directio of the broken bell carvings probably sets the activation order. But here’s the catch-the sound mechanics do not work the usual way.”
Riley looked over at her. “What do you mean?”
TartKing picked up a copper shard and set it gently into a groove on the platform’s edge.
It made no sound at all.
But one of the bell carvings on the platform flickered bright for a split second.

“This place lives up to its name, the Silent Bell Hall,” Pineapple Beer explained. “Ringing a bel might make no noise at all, but it always leaves a mark. Every correct move lights up a bell carving. Wrong moves loosen the stone doors and spawn trap mobs.”
Riley stared at the recently lit pattern.
“So you’ve been trying to figure out which bell to activate first?”
“Exactly.” TartKing nodded. “And there’s multiple sequences. The three-line door took three steps to unlock. The five-line one needs probably five steps, and the seven-line one needs seven. We might have to beat all of them to open the final path.”
Riley didn’t jump straight into testing.
She circled the entire platform once, then tilted her head up to study the twelve hanging bells
Pineapple Beer didn’t rush her.
TartKing waited quietly too.
Now that the three of them were together, the heavy, stifling silence in the hall felt way easier
to bear.
After finishing her inspection, Riley asked, “What have you already tried?”
Pineapple Beer kicked a flat stone slab over to her.
They’d carved rough notes into it by hand. With no paper or pens, they’d used their dagger and greatsword tip to scratch down everything they’d found.
The sequence for the three-line door.
The bell patterns that triggered errors.
The exact spots where trap monsters had spawned.
Every detail was clearly documented.
Tart King scratched her head awkwardly. “We didn’t want to forget anything, so we wrote everything down. It just looks really messy.”
Looking at the slab covered in dense markings, the last bit of restlessness in Riley’s heart faded.
“It’s perfect.”

PineappleBeer smiled faintly. “Now that you’re here, we won’t make as many wrong tries.”
Riley nodded firmly. “Alright.” D
She finished the last half of her small cake and picked up a copper shard etched with five thir lines.
“Let’s start with the five-line door.”
TartKing’s eyes lit up. “Burger, did you figure out the puzzle trick?”
Riley glanced up at the twelve silent copper bells hanging overhead.
“Nope.”
Her answer was blunt and straightforward.
“I’ll go through your notes first, make some guesses, and test stuff out.”
Pineapple Beer let out a soft laugh.
TartKing froze for a second and then giggled too.
The dungeon had no NPCs, no official rules, and no clear hints.
But none of the three felt stressed.
They’d already worked out the basic layout of the Silent Bell Hall.
The central platform controlled the twelve copper bells. The slots and bell carvings linked to different trap doors, and the lines on each door showed how many puzzle steps were needed. Wrong moves spawned mobs, and correct ones left faint, silent marks.
All they had to do was figure out the exact rules step by step.
