Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1833

"Tell Andre not to worry about me," Leo said. "I'm an adult. I can manage."

"That Chunky guy in your office seems solid. The two young guys are sharp and observant. The kid sitting closest to the door is loyal, quiet, even-tempered, and has a good heart. The one near the back wall is a bit slippery. As for that woman doing admin and finance, I don't like her. The rest are decent enough. I trust your judgment."

Leo was genuinely surprised and let out a laugh. "Grandpa, you've been here two hours and you've already psychoanalyzed my entire staff?"

"Did you think I just came here to bicker with you?" Hansen had always intended to inspect the place. If he could offer his grandson some seasoned advice, he would.

The weather outside was shifting, the chill biting deeper into their bones. Leo quickly ushered his grandfather back inside. "It's going to snow again this afternoon. You and the driver need to head back early. You don't have tire chains, and it's too dangerous if the roads ice over. My car has chains, so don't worry about me."

Hansen hung around for a while longer, snacking and drinking a soda while the employees woke up from their naps and resumed working. Eventually, Hansen began dozing off in Leo's office.

Leo walked in to find his grandfather sprawled in his office chair, face tilted up, mouth open, and snoring softly.

He grabbed a blanket from the sofa and draped it over him.

"He didn't want to leave," the driver whispered. "He wanted to spend more time with you."

Leo nodded. "You should sit down and get some rest too."

Stepping out, Leo grabbed a throw pillow that unzipped into a makeshift blanket. "Ms. Anya bought this on a whim. Turns out it's actually useful."
