Fuming, Jennie stared intensely at the coffee machine as she worked, completely oblivious to Cooper's gaze.

After breakfast, she retreated to her room to do her makeup. In Cooper's words: "Painting your face like that to go haunt the campus again."

"Shouldn't you be thanking me on behalf of the university and begging to be my man?" she shot back.

No matter how sharp Cooper's insults were, Jennie always managed to catch them and throw them right back.

Once she was ready, they walked side-by-side down the apartment hallway, heading to class.

"I heard the dean wants to offer you a teaching position here," Jennie mentioned.

"Just because he offered doesn't mean I'm going to take it," Cooper replied.

They stepped into the elevator. "Well, you're not leaving until I graduate," she declared, her tone leaving no room for argument.

Back in Eldoria, at the Cedillo estate.

Late into the night, Mia was wide awake, eagerly discussing her brother with her husband. "Honey, I'm telling you, Cooper is absolutely living with that princess. Hearing her voice first thing in the morning? They're definitely shacking up."

Andre rhythmically patted their son's back, trying to coax the little guy to sleep.

"I heard Princess Jennie's voice clear as day. If they actually end up together, how is a proposal even going to work? Where does Cooper get the nerve to go after a literal royal? And the princess—she's probably too young to know better, but what does she even see in him?"

"Honey, what do you think—" Mia started again.

A sleepy Henry let out a massive yawn. Unable to take the chatter anymore, he rolled over, rubbed his heavy eyes, and mumbled in his sweet, drowsy voice, "Mom, I'm trying to sleep. Stop talking so loud."

Mia instantly felt guilty. "Oh, I'm so sorry, sweetie. Come here, cuddle with Mom." She opened her arms wide.

Henry rolled across the mattress and snuggled into her soft, fragrant embrace. Mom's arms were definitely much cozier than Dad's.
