Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1864

Relying on the backup camera and her side mirrors, Mia carefully inched the car into the garage.

By the time they got out of the car, Aaron and Madison Irvin had already come out to greet them.

"When did you learn to drive so well?" Madison asked in awe.

"Just recently. I've been practicing at home in my free time," Mia replied, linking her arm through her mother's as they walked inside.

Aaron immediately scooped up his little grandson. Andre cautioned him, "Aaron, you don't need to carry him. Your arms will ache after a while."

Aaron naturally ignored his son-in-law, carrying his grandson all the way to the living room and refusing to put him down.

At the Arrowood family home.

Mars was on the phone with Milka. "It's New Year's Day. Today's almost over, so you better hurry back first thing tomorrow morning. I'm dying over here. Every day feels like a year."

"I know, I know. My tickets are already booked. Just make sure you're at the station to pick me up tomorrow," Milka replied.

"Obviously. Who else would I be picking up?"

Milka laughed. "Stop rushing me, I'll be home tomorrow. What are you having for dinner tonight?"

"Just standard base food."

"No special holiday dinner?" Milka asked.

Mars scoffed. "I'm saving the good stuff to eat with you when you get back."

Milka smiled warmly. "Then you'll just have to wait. My parents and I are making homemade dumplings tonight."

After hanging up, Milka rolled up her sleeves and walked out to help her family in the kitchen. "Mom, my train leaves at eight tomorrow morning. I won't get in until two in the afternoon."
