“Come on, this is nothing. We’re about to get a lot more victims. Hold it together,” Sylvara warned. “You almost laughed out loud just now!”

Veyric stuck out his tongue. “It’s my first time dealing with such a huge crowd. I’m not used to it yet. I’ll get better.”

“Well, you better adjust fast.” Sylvara walked to the smoking shed, pulled the cover off, and put out the smoke.

After smoking for around ten days, the meat finally showed its true look-almost 2,000 pounds of glossy, reddish-brown strips that carried a light pine scent.

“Whoa! I didn’t know the finished meat would look this amazing!” Veyric swallowed hard. “Sylvie, can we eat some now?”

“Go ahead and take a bite if you dare.” Sylvara smirked. She opened her optical computer and snapped nine photos from every angle, then sent them to Saphron to list 500 pounds for pre-sale.

“Awoo!” Veyric didn’t wait. He leaned in and bit a chunk right off. His whole mouth was covered in grease.

“Your Majesty, the shop that works with Level-7 Plant Healer has finally updated their stocks,” Aslan said. He held his optical computer toward Blake, who had been resting with her arms folded over her stomach. “Special smoked meat. 500 pounds. Limited to 2 pounds per customer. Sales start in ten days. They also uploaded the recipe and cooking tips.”

Blake’s eyes twitched. Her violet eyes snapped open, bright and clear. “It’s up? Put it in my cart now. If we wait, it’ll sell out.”

Aslan fell silent.

Is that the point?

If she gave just one command, the whole shop would probably and her the planet’s entire supply. And she’s scared of missing out on two pounds?

Are you kidding me?

Aslan, still obsessed with the identity of the mysterious Level-7 Plant Healer, tried again. “Didn’t I tell you earlier? I think Sylvara not only knows the new Level-7 Plant Heale. She might be the healer herself. Do you remember?”

Blake opened the shop page, hit “favorite” and “add to cart” in one smooth move. Then she glanced at Aslan and said calmly, “Oh. I forgot to tell you. I do know the ew Level-7 Plant Healer. She’s not our princess consort. She’s my partner.”

Aslan’s face changed dramatically. “Your partner is a Level-7 Plant Healer? Since when? How do I not know this?”

Blake lie easily. She pulled a glass of honey-lemon water from her spatial button and shook it lightly in front of him. “You never asked.”

Her gesture didn’t hurt Aslan physically, but it sure felt insulting.

Aslan pointed at himself, stunned. “So, after all that the lown was me?”

Blake’s striking face looked completely innocent. “You kept telling me the princess consort had no mental energy. I never denied it, it means I agreed with you.

“I agreed with everything you said. So how did you still end up thinking she’s the new Level-7 Plant Healer? That makes no sense at all! You’re contradicting yourself!

“Aslan, are you under too much stress lately? Do you need me to-”

“Find a Level-7 Plant Healer to treat me?” Aslan cut Blak off, excited enough to forget rank. “Any time you want! I’m ready!”

Yeah, you’re ready. Wishful thinking!

Blake had only meant to recommend a mental health clinic for actual mental exhaustion.

But Aslan thought Blake was offering Sylvara’s treatment?

If Sylvara could treat him, why would Blake bother hiding her identity at all?

She had nothing better to do?

Bored out of her mind?

Blake took her time sipping a glass of lemon honey water. The mental energy from the lemon spread through her body. “Oh, Aslan. Do you think Level-7 Plant Healers are everywhere? Or do you think I’m so important that one word from me makes people rush to serve me-bowing, scraping, giving their all, even dying for me?”

Aslan clamped his lips.
