“Drenvar!” Kyre growled through clenched teeth. Both s eyes were bruised blue and purple. They looked like full-on raccoon eyes now. “Is this how your academ treats guests? Using an egg as a weapon? Sneaking up on me? I’m going to sue you. Do you hear me? I’ll sue all of you!”

Drenvar finally saw clearly what had hit him-a wyvernegg. But that only confused him more. Since when could a wyvern egg shoot across the room and attack people?

“Mr. Mordrel, it’s a misunderstanding.” Drenvar said quickly. “An egg can’t be used as a weapon. You must’ve imagined it. If an egg really hit you, the egg would break not your eye.” He waved at Sylvara, signaling her to take the egg and leave at once.

Sylvara and Veyric were already legends. In military training, she had taken down the commander and General Kenobia. Their feats shocked not only their academy but every military unit across the system. Their names were plastered across the entire military forum.

Right before returning to Centria, Blake even called personally to praise them. He spoke to the academy principal and updated Sylvara’s file, changing her last name to Sylvara Kenobia and instructing that all public mentions call her Sylvie or Fewyin.

He also changed the “Guardian” field; her primary guardian was now Blake. The general even told the academy to contact him anytime something came up.

One student was directly tied to the royal family. One tied to the old noble house of the Mordrels. And now both were the public faces of the Fifth Military Academy. There was no universe where Drenvar would let the academy lose Sylvara. She was too important.

“You still dare to argue?” Kyre exploded. His blurry gaze whipped toward Sylvara, who was about to walk out. “Sylvara! Get over here right now! You see your uncle; why aren’t you saying hello? Where are your manners?”

Sylvara touched the warm Eggy in her arms. Maybe she imagined it, but it felt warmer than before, as if Eggy had wriggled a little.

She sent out her mental energy again. Strangely, Eggy didn’t drink any of it this time. It acted like a normal egg with no life inside, full and satisfied.

“Sylvara! I’m talking to you! Did you hear me?” Kyre shouted again, his anger boiling over.

This niece of his wife had lived in their home for years. But his wife had sent her away without his permission to marry the commander in Miralys’s place. Afraid the truth would leak and anger the royal family, they shoved Sylvara into the military academy to cover it up.

And after joining the academy, Sylvara turned wild. She tricked him out of hundreds of millions, got his daughter hurt, and even caused the Supreme Court to arrest Miralys.

He had to spend a billion to bail her out and then call in every favor he had to get her into the military training site. But even there, Miralys got into trouble again-this time accused of cheating on the test.

And the person at the center of every disaster? Sylvara. That’s why he came today. First, to force her to drop out. Second, to lock her up at home.

After all, she knew a Level-7 Plant Healer. If she wanted freedom again, she’d have to drag that healer to the estate. Otherwise, she would stay in their house forever, cooking on livestreams and begging for tips to pay back every cent she owed them.

Sylvara turned around with Eggy in her arms and flashel a bright smile. “Mr. Mordrel, you really shouldn’t get so worked up. Anger hurts your health and sets off your mental energy. It isn’t great for you. Take it easy, okay?”

“Did you just call me Mr. Mordrel?” Kyre looked offended. This girl had grown up in his house-quiet, timid, always nodding along. His wife had said Sylvaraad become sharp-tongued and bold, but he didn’t believe it. Now he had no choice but to believe it. “I’m your Uncle Kyre,” he snapped. “How dare you call me Mr. Mordrel? You have outgrown us now?”

Sylvara’s answer was sharp enough to drive a saint nuts. Yeah, I’ve grown wings now. If Aunt Seraphine and Miralys didn’t tell you, that’s their fault, not mine.”

“You brat!” Kyre nearly choked on his anger. He sucked in a long breath to steady himself. “I’m not going to argue with you. Pack your things. You’re dropping out and coming home with me.”

“Dropping out and going home with you?” Sylvara repeated calmly. “Mr. Mordrel, in what capacity are yo taking me home?”
