Sylvara's Rebirth A New Dawn for Abel novel Chapter 257

Chapter 257 Eggy Betrayed Me?!

Relos sat there in silence, his body tense. His dark eyes were bloodshot and rimmed with red. He watched Blake button his shirt.

Once the last button was done, Blake reached out to touch the Emperor’s forehead. “Is your mental energy unstable again?”

Relos tilted his head, avoiding the touch. He stepped out of the nest and looked past Blake toward Sylvara. His voice was raspy and cold. “Sorry. I used your bed without your permission.”

What is going on?

Aren’t they a couple?

Why is the Emperor acting so polite and distant?

This feels like a cold war!

Sylvara met the Emperor’s dark gaze and, instead of being intimidated, she gave him a sweet smile.

The Emperor looked at her smile, and his good-looking eyebrows furrowed.

She’s provoking me!

Blake noticed he was barefoot. She bent down, went on one knee, lifted one of the Emperor’s feet onto her own knee, pulled socks from her spatial button, and started putting them on him. “This nest is made for your mental energy. You can come anytime. You don’t need my permission. Feeling any better?”

Sylvara’s eyes almost popped out.

That gentle tone.

The one-knee-on-the-ground sock service!

Oh my god!

This sly, manipulative bastard is a pro at this!

Wait.

Don’t they say a great teacher makes a great student?

If she’s this good…

Why is my bargain-bin husband such a blockhead, enough to make you want to scream?

This bastard is definitely gatekeeping!

No way. That bastard has to teach Agares how to pamper his wife. She needs to spill every single secret.

Relos maintained his gaze on Sylvara and answered Blake in a cold, distant voice, “I’m fine. Thank you,

General Kenobia.”

Huh?!

Sylvara stared at the Emperor. She got a feeling that he wasn’t even treating Blake like a person. He didn’t even look at Blake; he only looked at her.

I’m just here to ship couples and the show! What is there to look at?

Blake meticulously put socks and shoes on the Emperors bare feet, then gently placed them on the ground. She lifted her head slightly, exposing her long neck-basically within the Emperor’s reach. She bowed in a submissive posture and looked up at him. “Serving Your Majesty is my honor.”

Snap.

Sylvara’s jaw dropped to the floor.

What on earth is happening?!

Did the Emperor only show up here by coincidence? Just to use this nest to stabilize his mental energy?

Is the ship a lie?!

Blake is just Blake, not the Empress?

If she’s not the Empress, then whose egg did she lay?!

Sylvara’s brain turned into mashed potatoes.

She slowly took out the egg, hugged it, squatted down, and started drawing circles on the floor. She wanted to eat popcorn, watch the drama, and ship her favorite couple.

Relos saw Sylvara squatting there, her cute face changing colors like a rainbow. He suddenly got angry. He kicked Blake. His voice was cold and sharp, “Get out.”

Thud.

The egg in Sylvara’s arms rolled onto the ground, and Blake dropped onto her butt.

Sylvara stared in shock, almost screamed, and forgot to grab the egg.

Blake pushed herself up from the floor. She didn’t look annoyed at all. She scrambled up and, before she was even steady, leaned back in toward the Emperor. She reached out to touch his forehead again. “Does your head hurt again?”

“Dirty.” Relos snapped. He stood up abruptly, shoved Blake away, and walked right past her.

Thud.

Sylvara was so confused she lost her balance and fell on her butt.

The drama was getting weirder by the second.

Like a tangled ball of yarn-no idea where the end even is.
