Sylvara's Rebirth A New Dawn for Abel novel Chapter 267

Chapter 267 Sweet and Sour Peace Offering

Sylvara almost laughed, but she held it in.

She truly did not understand.

That bastard was so smooth; she’s so good with words and shamelessly seductive.

Even though Blake kept most things to herself, just a tiny hint of emotional guidance slipped to Agares would have made his life much easier.

If that had happened, Agares would not be this stiff and serious. Not to the point where it made people both annoyed and amused.

So how exactly had that bastard taught him back then? What kind of lessons shaped Agares into someone with values this rigid?

Still, a small spark of excitement rose in Sylvara’s heart.

The message Relos had just exchanged with that bastard proved something from the side.

That bastard really was the Empress.

One person, two roles. A master of disguise.

As for whether that overwhelming dominance meant anything else, that was still up for debate. It was too early to draw conclusions.

After all, a creature this abnormal could even have pups. If Blake could do that, it was possible that she could impregnate herself.

“Right, right, it’s all his fault,” Sylvara said. She washed her hands at the sink, then pulled out apples, sweet oranges, lemons, and sugar cubes from her spatial storage.

In record time, she brewed a mug of apple tea. She also arranged the apples, oranges, and grapes into a fruit plate. She carried everything to the long table and set it down.

Then she grabbed Relos by the arm and pulled him into a chair. “Your Majesty, don’t be angry,” she said gently. “Drink some apple tea. It’ll warm your heart.”

“We won’t stoop to that bastard’s level,” she added seriously. “Next time, we’ll just prepare a rigid washboard and make him sit on it.”

His sister-in-law looked obedient and sweet. Her smile was soft. She made tea and fruit. She was thoughtful to the extreme.

Much better than that infuriating younger brother.

Relos felt deeply comforted. But the more caring Sylvara was, the more upset he felt on her behalf. To him, Agares was ungrateful, and Blake was no good at all.

He lifted the cup and took a big sip of the tea before he set it down. His damp eyes burned with anger. “Right. We won’t lower ourselves,” he said. “But we won’t let him off either. Explain how a washboard works. I’ll have someone make it right now.”

Sylvara was shocked.

In the Interstellar Era, no one washed clothes by hand.

Even if they did, no one used washboards.

So, does it mean Troya doesn’t have washboards?

She raised an eyebrow, opened her optical computer, and pulled up a virtual screen. She quickly sketched the basic shape of a washboard. “It looks like this,” she said to Relos. “All we need is some wood.”

Relos extended his device and linked it with hers. “Send it to me.”

Sylvara moved fast and sent over the design.

Relos received the design right away. “I’ll have people make it right away.”

“Make several,” Sylvara said with a mischievous grin. “And make them sturdy.”

Relos was sending messages to his guard while replying to Sylvara. “Alright,” he said. “I had them make 100 pieces. Send 50 to Agares.”

“His Majesty, you’re amazing.” Sylvara’s eyes lit up like stars. She smiled brilliantly and revealed her pearly white teeth. “I’ll make you some durian chicken and make some durian crepes for you. Can I start a livestream?”

Obedient and sweet, Sylvara asked Relos before doing anything.

It hit him right in the heart. His heart melted into a soft mess. Who needed a brother anyway? Having such a lovely sweetheart was more than enough.

Relos waved his hand and said in a deep voice, “You’re the princess consort. You’re my sister-in- law. The palace is your home. Stream however you like. You don’t need my permission.

“Oh, right. When you start the stream, block Agares and Blake. Don’t give them food. Don’t even let them smell it.”
