Chapter 88
BEATRICE
Beatrice was not given an answer to her question. Between one second and the next, she found herself standing in the hall, confused at how she’d gotte there. “…we were just sitting on a dirt floor, weren’t we?,” she asked, turning to look at Claire and Riaghaire.
“Yeah, that’s just how the boss is,” Claire explained with a small shrug of her shoulders. “Cofee on; we have work to do. Like cleaning up the mess those wolves made.”
“Weird question, but can Gregory predict the future or something?”
“Huh?,” the blond frowned. “What makes you think that?”.
“Something Gaml said made it sound like he knew this was going to happen.”

Gregory had explained it all to Beatrice, but it went in one ear and out the other once he started talking about spells and magic. What she did understand was that, until it was all cleaned up, no magic could be used in the bar area.
Just fucking great, she thought to herself while attempting to mop up some bright pink goo. If they could use magic I bet this clean up could take a few minutes instead of a few hours.
It bothered Beatrice that Hendricks had made an appearance, even more so as a wolf. She was under the impression the wolves shouldn’t have been able to shift while in Kaleidoscope. So how had he managed it? Had he come in already shifted?
It was nearly sunrise by the time they’d cleaned up enough for the failsafe to disperse Once that happened, the fae on staff able to use their magic to repair the physical damage caused by the all out brawl that’d taken place
