The Alpha's Chubby Obsession. novel Chapter 182

Side Story 27

Abel

He sat across from me, visibly boiling with rage. “My son brought something to my notice, Abel,”

he said, disgust etched across his face.

“Hmm… it’s Alpha Abel to you, uncle,” I replied calmly, and I watched his expression twist with

irritation.

“I haven’t announced you publicly,” he snapped, voice sharp. “So show a little respect.”

I leaned back in my seat, eyes fixed on him. “Whether you’ve announced me or not doesn’t change a thing. I am your alpha, and you will address me as such.”

He scoffed, clearly hating every word, but I had spoken my mind.

“Well, my son will not reject his mate to marry someone without a wolf. That would be a slap to my face,” he said, venom lacing every word.

“Then what will you do about the child she is carrying?” I asked, my voice calm but firm. We both knew this wasn’t about marriage, this was about power, and he knew it.

Alan marrying someone without a wolf worked entirely to my advantage, and I intended to use it.

“I don’t care about that damn pregnancy. She can go abort it for all I care,” he spat. I nodded

slightly.

“She tried that, but almost died,” I told him. His eyes widened in shock.

I suspected Alan hadn’t informed him of that. “Her father came barging in here over what your son did to his daughter. It’s only fair he married her,” I added.

Klaus slammed his hands against my table. “My son will not marry her! Who are you to concern

yourself with in my household?”

I leaned forward, voice still measured but piercing. “I am the alpha and ruler of this pack.”

He flinched, clearly hating my words.

“Let her in,” I called.

He snapped his head toward the door as one of my men escorted in a young girl. Her face was pale, expression blank, as though she had been crying for a long time. She walked slowly toward us, head bowed.

“I… greet the alpha,” she whispered, sniffing quietly.

“Do you still wish to marry Alan, knowing that even while he was mated to you, he impregnated another?” I asked.

Clary

She immediately burst into tears, shaking her head violently. “How dare he?” she sobbed, sniffing.

“Oh, please, come off it,” Klaus muttered, trying to dismiss her reaction. She jerked slightly at his

tone.

“Don’t you dare scare her, Klaus,” I warned sharply. He whipped his head toward me.

“And so what? Alan won’t be the first to cheat, and he won’t be the last. My son, no matter what you say, Abel, will not marry that girl,” he snapped.

My voice rose immediately. “You shall include my title!” I bellowed.

He laughed, smug and confident, believing I could do nothing to him.

“I command you, Klaus – kneel!” I said, letting my alpha power surge, my wolf rising beneath the surface. Instantly, his knees hit the floor, the chair he had been sitting on sliding back from the

force.

The young girl gasped at the display of authority.

“You…” he began, but I cut him off sharply. “Shut up.”

“You see, Klaus, being alpha isn’t just a title. It is my blood. Whether you sit in that seat or not, you

are beneath me.”

Though he could not speak, his face twisted with hurt. He needed to understand: I am not my

father, and I do not tolerate disrespect.

“Your son will reject his mate and marry Pamela. That young girl,” I pointed to Alan’s former mate,” can finally be free from your son.” My voice left no room for debate.

She bowed deeply. “Thank you, Alpha Abel. I shall do as you wish,” she said.

I glanced at the door. “Bring him in.”

Soon, Alan was ushered in. His shoulders sagged, and when he saw his mate staring at him, his lips trembled. If he truly loved her, he wouldn’t have cheated; he would have cherished her as his

own.

Then his eyes fell on his father, kneeling humbly in my office, and a gasp escaped him.

“Be done with the rejection,” I commanded. He bowed his head, looking toward her.

She was crying now, and so was he.

“I, Alan, reject you, Lili,” he said, his words trembling.

“And I do too, you pathetic bastard,” she spat, before running from the office, crying.

He wiped at his tears, then glanced at me.

“It is done,” I declared. “Your wedding to that girl will take place immediately after mine.

He froze. “What about yours?” he asked.

I smiled slowly. “Well, I’ve changed my mind,” I said, settling back into my chair. He had the audacity to glare at me, as if I had betrayed him.

I looked over at my uncle, still on his knees, shaking with anger. I chuckled low-displaying power

never felt so satisfying.

“I see your lips got punched. You can stay in my quarters if you don’t want to be beaten again by your son,” I said to Abel, he swallowed hard. I laughed even more.

“You may rise, uncle, and speak.”

Immediately, by my command, he stood. He said nothing, turned to his son, then turned away.

“Bow,” I commanded again. He turned back and bowed, not by choice, but because his body obeyed – I owned him.

After that, he left.

“Does your offer still stand?” Alan asked.

I raised a brow. “I don’t want to be beaten tonight,” he says with a trembling voice and I sighed,

relaxing in my seat. “Do whatever you want, Alan.”
