The Alpha's Four Hidden Heirs (Natalie and Samuel) novel Chapter 125

**Chapter 125**

**NATALIE.**

Yesterday turned out to be quite the adventure. After finally regaining some sensation in my legs, I decided to treat myself to a quick shower. It felt refreshing, especially after the energetic chase I had with Samuel, who playfully darted back to his room. My body, still recovering, was more than willing to surrender to the need for rest, and I knew my vagina was grateful for the break.

As I stepped out of the shower, the sound of laughter and playful shouts filled the air. I descended the stairs just in time to see the kids bursting into the living room, clearly high on sugar. Gavin, with a proud grin plastered across his face, informed me that he had taken them to the arcade, which meant they had indulged in an array of sugary snacks and treats that would make any dentist cringe.

The rest of the day was a whirlwind of energy as we chased the kids around the house, their laughter echoing through the walls. Eventually, we all snuggled together on the large couch in the living room to watch a movie. It wasn’t long before the kids succumbed to sleep, and I found myself drifting off as well. I have a fleeting memory of Samuel gently carrying me to my room and placing a soft kiss on my forehead, wishing me goodnight.

Now, as I prepare for the day ahead, a familiar knock on the door interrupts my thoughts. I already know it’s Samuel, so I call out for him to come in.

He leans against the doorframe, his eyes fixed on me with an intensity that makes me feel slightly self-conscious.

“Why are you staring?” I ask, a teasing lilt in my voice. He smiles, a warm and genuine expression that makes my heart flutter.

“I’m just admiring your face before you put on the mask,” he replies, his tone playful yet sincere. “But you know you don’t have to wear it, right?”

I let out a soft sigh, turning to face him fully. “I have to. You know that. Your pack is loyal, but it only takes one slip-up for everything to fall apart.” As I approach him, I find myself gently caressing his cheek, surprised by my own boldness.

When did I become so daring?

But with Samuel, everything feels different, easier.

“Besides,” I continue, “today marks the beginning of phase one in bringing Yara down. It won’t be long before I can toss this mask aside for good.”

His eyes light up, but then a shadow crosses his face, a guarded look that makes me curious.

“What’s bothering you?” I ask, my voice softening. He exhales deeply, as if weighing his words carefully.

“Do you remember yesterday when we were interrupted in the lab?” he asks, and I can’t help but blush at the memory. I nod, urging him to continue.

“It was Yara,” he reveals, and my instinct is to recoil, to distrust him immediately. But I push that thought aside, wanting to hear him out.

“What did she want?” I inquire, my curiosity piqued.

“Well,” he begins, his voice steady, “I had given the guards strict instructions not to let her in. She was refusing to leave, so they came to get me. When I confronted her at the gate, I made it clear that she wasn’t welcome here. I told her she wouldn’t see the kids again, that I didn’t love her, nor did I even like her as a person. I told her she would never be my wife or my Luna. Since she’s never been a mother to the children, I told her to leave and never return.”

“Cutting off her money supply,” I reply, watching as shock and intrigue flicker across his face.

“How do you plan to do that?” he asks, leaning in closer.

“Do you remember that day at the school when I helped that lady, Yana? Her husband is Beta Hans,” I say, recalling the event vividly.

His brow furrows. “Yeah, I remember him. He tried to put his hands on you.”

“Exactly. He was incredibly grateful for my help, and while I usually refuse any form of payment, I discovered he’s the CEO of Crown Entertainment. Guess who just signed there?” I smirk, feeling a rush of excitement. “I convinced him to put someone of my choosing in charge of the artists’ contracts. That means Yara’s acting career is now in my hands.”

Samuel’s face lights up with a devilish grin. “That sounds absolutely wicked! I wish I could have been there to see it. But if you need any assistance, just call me, okay?”

“I’ll be fine. I’ll mostly be in the background on this one. I don’t want her to know it’s me just yet. Ross will handle the meeting today,” I clarify, and he nods, understanding my strategy.

Last night, I shared everything with him about Yandel and Ross, assuring him that there’s nothing romantic between us. Whenever he sees me with them, it’s just an act.

“Alright then, good luck to both of us,” he says, his tone filled with determination.
