Sabine had one more thing to do. One more leverage she needed. Just one more.

They still had the upper hand. They had Lori. And soon… they would have her son too. It was perfect. Everything was falling according to plan. As long as
Gabriel didn’t do anything stupid, everything would go splendidly well.
“They’ve been under strict surveillance. What exactly do you want to do with them?”
Vara asked as they both walked towards the Fuller’s house.
Sabine shrugged.
‘I’ve had a lot of time to think about it… I don’t think the Fullers would be of
‘I’d rather have them dead.”
She answered.
much use to me.”
In front of the door, Sabine turned and found a neighbor from the other house staring at them. The woman was watering her garden in a robe.
Nosy old thing.
Sabine thought as she waved to her and faked a smile.
The woman smiled uneasily.
“Are you here to see the Fullers?”
She asked and Sabine nodded.
“Yes.”
‘Oh wow… they’ve been having quite a lot of guests in the last few days…”
The woman answered and Sabine smiled tightly.
‘I haven’t seen them since yesterday morning. I hope they’re good.”
‘Will you say hello to little Jack for me? Maybe I’ll stop by.”
The woman said and Sabine nodded.
‘Sure! Will do.”
‘Make sure you get rid of her too.”
Sabine whispered to Vara as she waved to the woman again.
‘Anne and Tom Fuller.”

Vara said as she pointed to the two people seating dutifully on the sofa.
Sabine smiled.
“I can’t say I’m pleased to meet you…”
Sabine said.
Their faces looked distraught. The woman has puffy red eyes, she looked like she had been crying for hours.
The man on the other hand looked stoic. His face hard and gaunt.
“What happened on the night Lori gave birth? I’m curious to hear your side of the story.”
Anne cleared her throat.
‘Please… please don’t hurt us… we meant no harm…”
‘I asked you a question woman.”
There was a short silence before her husband answered.
“When she went into premature labor. We were called because we were listed as her emergency contacts. She had no family that we knew of…”
*The birth was difficult. Extremely difficult and when the baby was born he was rushed to the NICU. He was pronounced dead a few minutes later.”
Vara glanced at Sabine who was listening intently.
“Then how is he alive?”

Vara retorted and Sabine raised her hand, gesturing that Vara should shut her mouth.
“We don’t know! We had no idea! Since legally, we were in charge of him. We asked to take his body away right away because we were stricken with grief. We
didn’t want an autopsy or anything… we were so distraught.”
‘On our way to the funeral home… something very weird happened…”
“He sneezed.”
Mrs Fuller answered.
“We were so frightened… but then he started crying and we took him home…”
“We had him examined… he was fine. We were under no legal obligation to tell Lory. So we didn’t.”
Sabine shook her head.
“How? How did you even get away with that? How did she not find out?”
