The Alpha’s Nanny (Lori and Gabriel) novel Chapter 155

THE ALPHA’S NANNY.

Chapter 155

“He’s alive… The Fullers kept that knowledge away from you.”

No. Lori could not believe her ears. Could not believe the lies the woman in front of her was spewing. She was lying. It was a blatant bold faced le

Why would she lie about something like that?!

Sabine saw that Lori didn’t look convinced and she brought out her phone.

‘I have a picture of him with the Fullers. Maybe this will make you believe.”

She said as she showed Lori her phone.

Lori took cautious steps towards her. Walking closer to her but staying at a respectful distance in case it was a trap.

She froze.

Her hands shaking slightly as she looked at the family portrait.

Was it another baby?

Could he really be her son?

“You know why he didn’t die?”

Lori looked up to Sabine.

Confusion etched in her blood splattered face.

“He didn’t die because he’s just like you. He is half nephilim but he still inherited your powers. Super fast healing… among other abilities…”

Sabine said as she ran her eyes all over Lori again,

Gods… the blood of her wolves was splattered all over her, Sabine clenched her jaw tightly.

She had to restrain herself, because if she didn’t…

She wanted to throttle her. She wanted

on the spot but of what use would that be to het?

She would probably never be able to walk away from such fight.

It was too big of a risk. And there were other ways… better ways to punish Lori for her crimes.

“You knew?”

Lori asked. When Gabriel had told her that there was a strong possibility that she wasn’t human, but some powerful almost extinct supernatural she had shooed away the thought. Because it sounded ridiculous. Part of her secretly believed it, the other part didn’t.

If she had powers she wouldn’t have fallen in the hands of Jared. Or Asher. Her powers didn’t save her then when she needed them the most. It didn’t save

her from her abusers. It didn’t make her life any less shitty.

She had dismissed the thought thinking whatever she had was useless. Besides, human or not, it had never really been a huge concern of hers.

Until now. And finding out Sabine knew… just made things a lot weirder.

Sabine nodded.

“I could smell it on you.”

“That day when you were in the basement.”

Lori remembered. She had looked curious, but remained tight lipped and spoke evasively. She must have been hiding it from Lyle.

“You were hiding it from Lyle…”

She trailed off and Sabine nodded.

“Exactly.”

Lori gulped hard. If her son was alive… what? What did that even mean?

So far… she didn’t know how to react, she still didn’t believe it. She didn’t believe her ears.

“Where’s my son? You said he’s alive. Is he still with the Fullers?”

Oh if he was… she would give them hell. Hell for putting her through that kind of agony. Hell for making her feel so guilty and horrible. For many nights she had nightmares about him, about the loss and the pain.

She could still remember the physical ache that came in her chest when she remembered him.

Sabine smiled slyly.

“The Fullers… well, let’s just say they’re permanently out of the equation.”

“I have taken your son under my custody for safekeeping.”

“What?!”

Lori exclaimed and Sabine shrugged.

“You’re in no state right now to take care of him.”

Lori scoffed.

“What gives you the fucking right?!”

“It’s for the best.”

“For the best?! Are you joking? Is this some kind of sick joke?!”
