Chapter 154
‘Did she do this?!”
Sabine nodded.
Vara’s jaw clenched.
“We should kill her for this…”
Sabine shook her head.
“We wouldn’t even be able to…”
She said hopelessly as she looked at the soaked ground. She was literally kneeling in the pool of one of her wolves blood.
The soil was soaked with blood. She pressed a hand to the soil and raised it up, her palm, crimson red, with dirt and leaves stuck to it.
She turned her palm into her fist and sighed.
‘Call for back up. Have them clear the woods tomorrow. Check the cottage for survivors.”
“But… shouldn’t we go after her?!”
Vara protested and Sabine nodded.
“I’ll deal with her myself.”
With those final words, Sabine shooed Vara away.
She waited until Vara was out of earshot before closing her eyes.
Concentrate. She told herself as she tuned her hearing into the woods. It was quiet. Deathly quiet, There may be no survivors left… But then she heard a voice. Tiny… about a few yards from her but she knew it was Lori.
Sabine opened her eyes and stood up. Wiping the blood on her jeans, then she headed towards the nephilim’s way.
Blood. So much blood. Her clothes were soaked in it. She could taste it in her mouth. The coppery taste. Lori tried to spit out as much as she could but she could still smell and taste it! Like it was engraved in her brain.
She didn’t know exactly what happened. She couldn’t explain it. The blood, the gore, the dead wolves laying on the floor.
Why?!
How did she kill so many?
What the fuck happened?
She kept asking herself but no answer came to mind.

Chapter 154
G
She had gone out of control. She felt horrified by the bodies she found lying around and she had fell to her knees and started sobbing.
She killed wolves. Werewolves just like Gabriel.
She was a wolf killer.
She killed men!
Actual people!
Her hands started to shake violently.
She was interrupted by the sudden footsteps making way towards her. At that point she was already tired.
No fight left in her. No will to kill any more people.
But that smell… whoever was coming was someone she knew. Someone familiar. And the person was angry, at her.
Lori stood to her feet and watched Sabine approach from the shadows.
“Stay back.”
She warned and Sabine halted.
‘You killed my wolves.”
She simply said. Her expression was blank. Unreadable.
“You had me locked up in a basement.”
Lori retorted.
‘I think we’re even.”
She added shakily.
‘Did you have to kill all of them?! Some of them were just doing their jobs…”
Lori’s stance faltered.
“They.. they came for me first..”
Sabine shook her head.
“They would have never hurt you…”
‘How was I supposed to know that?”
Lori fired back.

Chapter 154
“Listen… I don’t want to hurt you… you should step back.”
“You won’t.”
“Because i have something of yours.”
The woman said. Lori raised her eyebrow.
*Gabriel?!”
She whispered, her heart skipping a beat and Sabine shrugged.
“Not him. Someone else… someone you don’t even know…”
“Who?”
Lori asked.
Sabine smiled slyly.
