The Alpha’s Nanny (Lori and Gabriel) novel Chapter 205

Chapter 205

“What do you make of all this?”

Gabriel asked Draco as he took a swig out of his whisky. He rarely drank, but during times like these… he couldn’t help it.They were standing in front of Vara’s cell. She was on the floor, crouched low, her head in her hands, she had not spoken a word to them in days.

Three days in isolation had not broken her will. She still wasn’t budging.

Draco shuddered. Gabriel was overwhelmed, he could feel it and see it written all over his face. He was back from Kate and it seemed she even had more

annoying news to give him.

“I have my ears to the wall… I’m trying to get you as much information as I can.”

He said but Gabriel shook his head.

“That’s not what I asked.”

“I don’t know what to think Gabriel. Your family says she’s too weak to be your Luna, but the alphas somehow see her as a threat?!”

“It doesn’t make any sense to me.”

Draco added.

“Who fucking told them about her in the first place?”

He asked and Gabriel pointed to Vara.

“I think it’s safe to say Sabine hasn’t been quiet after all. Wherever she is she seems to be perfectly strong enough to spread her lies and deceit.”

Vara didn’t even flinch at the mention of her alpha’s name.

Draco turned to Gabriel.

“You think she has a hand in this?”

Gabriel nodded,

“Who else?!”

“My family knows what Lori is. But they’re not stupid enough to share that to others.”

“Sabine knows. And she’s probably butthurt that I took her beta.”

“Still. We can’t conclude now. Kate might be saying nonsense. I don’t know why she got that way… but I’ll keep you posted on what I hear.”

Gabriel nodded.

“What do we do about Lyle?”

Draco asked.

Gabriel sighed.

“His mother wants him released.”

“And will you release him? After all that he’s done?!”

“I don’t want to…”

“So what will you do?”

“I don’t know yet.”

“But I can’t forgive him. Not after what he has done. Not after Elliot.”

********

“You want to train?”

Gabriel asked again and Lori nodded.

“Yes. I can’t keep relying on you to be there all the time. I need to do something.”

She passed him a cup of coffee. He was leaving for work and she had made him breakfast.

Lori had told him about training and he had been surprised that she brought it up. It was a good idea but Lori training wasn’t something he had

imagined.

ever

Besides he was skeptical about it. He wanted her safe and at home where he was confident that his men would protect her but training sounded much

better.

“You’re right…”

“So you wouldn’t mind?”

She asked and Gabriel chuckled,

“I wouldn’t. If training is what you want then that’s exactly what you’d get.”

“I have to warn you though… Draco’s a bit too rough to train you and I’m afraid I’d be too busy to train you myself but I think I know the perfect person for

you.”

“Really?”

Gabriel nodded.

“Yes. You’d love her. I’d tell her to come pick you up later today.”

Gabriel remembered Emilia.
