Chapter 249
“And this too… We know the hideouts of her wolves, so why are we letting them walk away freely?”
Gabriel shrugged.
‘I don’t know, because they’re innocent?’
Lori sighed.
And that’s where the problem is. Sabine expects us to play fair! While we are playing fair, she is playing dirty. She killed Elliot and what did we do? We kept
Vara in our cells when we should have sent her head back to her.”
“I am tired of playing fair Gabriel!!!”
“This is war.”
Gabriel smiled, his chest welling with pride.
“You’re right. What else do you have in mind?”
Lori pointed at the laptop screen.
Everything. She had planned everything. They would take away everything Sabine owned. Then capture the rest of her wolves and leave them langusihing in prison. Lori knew she wouldn’t be able to hurt Jck in retun because at least now she was aware that he was valuable commodity to her. She wouldn’t hurt him, not at her expense. But she would lose everything.
If she was selfish enough to hold on to her son while her own wolves suffered, then Lori would even go lower.
She would wipe out her entire pack if that was all it would take.
“Sabine! Sabine!”
A voice called out.
Sabine roused from her sleep. Mildly angry that someone had chose to wake her.
She had not been sleeping well lately. So when she arrived at Axel’s villa and got a room of her own with its luxury bedding, she had sunk into the covers and deliciously slept.
The rest of the week had been like that. Axel told her to take a few days to rest before they started discussing their plans and all and that she did. She took
time out to rest.
Everything was going smoothly, at least as smoothly as it could go. What else could she ask for?
She had a safe place to say, a valuable commodity, she has Gabriel and Lori suffering wherever it was they were and she had a new partner.
“What? What is it?”

Chapter 249
She asked as she finally opened her eyes.
Axel had only let her keep two of her men in his villa, claiming the rest would be a security risk to his own pack members. So she had kept the important
ones and sent the rest to hideout for a while.
And the arrangement had worked, because she didn’t actually need them. No, not yet. She was safe and protected in Axel’s villa where nobody knew.
She was fine.
“Multiple reports from a lot of our werewolves. They’re being captured in droves.”
Sabine sat up.
“What?!”
She exclaimed as she sat upright.
“Where did you get that information?!”
“The ones who are left are being left with a message.”
“What message?!”
She almost screamed and the man plucked out his phone from his pocket, he showed it to her.
All the blood drained from her face.
She was mute.
“That’s… that’s not all…”
Sabine nodded for him to continue.
“I got another report that one of your houses in Ohio was being burnt down. I was skeptical so I had it checked out. Turned our it was true. Out of suspicion I decided to check to make sure every other place was safe….”
“…but to my dismay I found out we’ve lost three more properties. I have no one left to give me intel on the rest, but I suspect the same as happened to them.”
Sabine gulped hard.
“This was her doing…”
She whispered quietly.
That bitch Lori.
Oh she was going to kill her with her bare hands.
Out of curiosity she picked up her phone and tried to access her bank accounts.

Her hands started shaking.
“All my accounts are frozen.”
Her subordinate looked at her with despair.
“What do we do? We don’t have that much werewolves in the field, I guarantee they’re probably fleeing to escape capture.”
“This is a coordinated attack. It’s meant to cripple me.”
She glanced at her subordinate and saw the unspoken answer in his eyes.
It had already crippled her.
“I’ll inform Axel and George Caddel.”
“In the meantime, try to gather the rest of the wolves of our pack you can find. Get them to a safe place.”
