Chapter 253
‘So what do you want to do?!*
lone sighed. She knew what she must do, but it was not an easy choice. Nor was it an easy decision. Trying to confirm if the story was hundred percent true would take more time. She needed to get her the boy out, grandson or not, he was nephilim and her kind had fought against being sold and used as blood
slaves for years.
She had spent a good portion of her youth freeing nephilim in such conditions and most times she didn’t even know them.
This time it didn’t matter if there were personal ties. She would save the boy, then find out if he was truly what they say he was.
And give him back to his mother.
Her daughter.
She turned to Graham.
“We’re going back to America. Go get ready.”
Graham nodded eagerly, there was a wide smile on his face.
“Call all of our contacts in advance, let them know we’re coming.”
They were trapping Sabine like a bird in a cage. Soon, she would be forced to give up Jack, Lori knew it. Or lose everything else.
The last few days had been planned with planning, scheming and executing said plans. It was easy to find her werewolves. Without their alpha to guide them many of them became delinquents. The ones who didn’t had the good sense to hide. They had quite a number of them.
Lori felt mild pity for them but that was all, they would be released as soon as Sabine did her bidding.
Sabine had called more times after the first time. With empty threats and loud arguments. Clearly what they were doing was getting to her, but for some reason she still held out.
Gabriel tried to have her call traced many times but it seemed she was operating with burner phones, most of the time the locations that came up were inaccurate with no one or nothing there,
Lori knew they were close. She could feel it in her bones. Something told her they were close to nailing her and she couldn’t wait.
She turned to Gabriel who was fixated on his laptop. He had been busy the last few days. She could see the lines on his face formed by how hard he was concentrating.
The Luna rites grew closer and she had one more thing to be nervous about. Although Gabriel had reassured her that she could back out at anytime, she didn’t want to. Besides he had talked her through everything that was going to happen during the rites and his grandfather on the other have had been polite all along. If he had any more protests and arguments, he didn’t voice them out anymore.
Lori removed the crumpled envelope from her pocket and placed it on the table.

Chapter 253
Gabriel glanced once. Then again when he realized what it was. His eyes widened as he turned to Lori.
‘Where did you get that?”
“Why did you hide it from me?”
She retorted and he shrugged.
“It was irrelevant. I didn’t want to bother you with it.”
‘It’s a chance to take out Sabine.”
Gabriel looked at her incredulously.
*If you think Axel would do something like that out of the goodness of his heart then I’m afraid you have much to learn about the werewolf world.”
“We don’t know his terms yet. What if we can offer him what he wants?”
She asked and Gabriel sighed.
“That’s one path not worth pursuing. Trust me.”
Lori raised her eyebrow.
“Why? Why do you dismiss it so quickly?”
“Lori, I know you are desperate, but trust me, you do not want Axel Walker helping you. Best to leave him be.”
Lori stared at Gabriel for a while before relenting.
‘Perhaps you’re right…”
She murmured.
Gabriel nodded.

Axel… whatever his reasons are.. they’re for his own personal gains. And that never ends well,”
‘But why is he interested in the first place?’
She asked and Gabriel stared at Lori blankly.
‘Isn’t it obvious?! He’s interested in you.”
‘Me?!”
Lori exclaimed, musky appalled.
