The Apocalypse Survival Manual (Three Days Before Doomsday, I Stockpiled Billions) novel Chapter 497

Chapter 497

The glass shattered with a crash.

Poppy didn’t stand by and watch. She spun into the air and kicked one guard square in the jaw, then followed up with several punches.

After years of studying pressure points, Nicole knew exactly where to strike. Every punch landed with perfect

accuracy.

Of course, she held back. Her blows would leave them injured, but not dead.

They should be grateful this was the new district and that she planned to live here for several more years. Otherwise, she would have pulled out an assault rifle and gunned them all down without hesitation.

Within seconds, all ten guards were sprawled across the ground, groaning in pain.

The other patrol team heard the commotion, grabbed their weapons, and rushed over.

Damn!

Weasel nearly screamed like an excited fanboy.

Nicole was incredible!

Get them! Beat the hell out of those punks!

Nicole didn’t even blink as the guards charged toward her. She poured all the anger she had been holding back lately into her fists.

Some people just had to push their luck.

Give them an inch, and they would mistake restraint for fear and take a mile. Back down twice, and they would get cocky enough to walk all over you.

If Nicole didn’t show them what she was capable of today, they would keep treating her like some filthy rat who had no right to show her face.

Nicole stopped targeting pressure points and snatched a riot baton from one of the guards.

She swung it hard, avoiding any fatal areas but beating them as if she were tenderizing meat.

Several guards surrounded Zeph. He moved with startling speed, dislocating their arms before sending them flying with powerful kicks.

A Maybach came speeding toward the neighborhood, music blasting from inside.

Bang!

A body slammed into the car..

The airbags deployed instantly, and Marcus hit the brakes on reflex. 1

Bang! Bang! Bang!

By the time he pushed open the door and climbed out from behind the airbag, four or five groaning security guards were sprawled across the hood.

Geez. Who the hell had taken all these people down?

A man, a woman, and… Was that a kid?

“Ah!”

Another body came flying straight at him, and Marcus instinctively ducked and covered his head.

Damn, that was close.

“Stop!”

A furious shout rang out. Bodyguards in black suits rushed over and aimed their guns at Nicole from a distance

Nicole gave them a calm warning. “I really don’t like having guns pointed at me.”

“You’ve got some nerve causing trouble in Brighton Estates. Do you even know who runs this neighborhood…”

“Are you deaf? Keep that gun pointed at me, and whatever happens next is on you.”

“You’ve got a big mouth…argh!”

The gun suddenly dropped from his hand. A military knife had pierced straight through the bodyguard’s palm.

Zeph had thrown it.

Nicole hadn’t even gotten a chance to move.

She walked over, picked up the gun, and pressed the barrel to the bodyguard’s forehead. With a cold smile, she asked, “How does it feel to have a gun pointed at you?”

Blood poured from his hand, and his face went pale with pain.
