Chapter 522
A soft, sultry voice drifted outside, and a slender young woman appeared moments later.
“Mom, what’s all that noise?”
Camila stepped out, dripping in jewelry and wearing a limited-edition designer dress from before the disasters. Beautiful and glamorous, she looked like a delicate flower that had spent its entire life sheltered in a greenhouse.
Nicole immediately snapped out of her daze and shoved Irene aside. Irene was wearing high heels and nearly lost her balance from the force of the push.
The moment Camila saw the servant’s bruised, swollen face, she realized what had happened and instinctively backed toward the house.
She tried to retreat inside, but Nicole was faster. Nicole grabbed a fistful of her hair and dragged her back out.
Camila let out a piercing scream. “Let go of me! What the hell are you doing, you psycho? Help! Somebody help me!”
Irene hurried after them in alarm, only to twist her ankle.
Ignoring Camila’s screams, Nicole dragged Camila all the way back to Villa 50 like a sack of garbage. Without saying a word, she kicked Camila into the filthy gate.
Camila had been pampered her entire life. She had never touched anything so disgusting.
The filth was still wet, and it smeared across her body, her hands, and her priceless dress. The stench hit her full force, and she immediately doubled over and vomited.
She had barely started to push herself up when Nicole kicked her back down and planted a foot against her face.
Half of Camila’s face was pressed into the gate, smearing filth across her skin. Every time she struggled, more got into her mouth and nose.
“Don’t you enjoy smearing this stuff everywhere?” Nicole ground her foot against Camila’s beautiful face. “Since you love it so much, you’re not leaving until you lick this gate clean.”
Camila sobbed and gagged as she cursed at Nicole. “You’re crazy! What the hell do you want?”
Camila’s protest changed nothing. Zeph had already brought the man who could expose her.
Before Zeph could say a word, the terrified man blurted out the whole story.
“Ms. Clark, you were jealous of her and hated her, so you ordered me to teach her a lesson. I didn’t want to do it, but you threatened to fire me! If I lost this job, my family would starve. I had no choice!”
Camila immediately denied it. “He’s lying! I never told him to do anything!”
“Yes, you did! You didn’t just threaten me. You gave me ten pounds of rice and promised to increase my food ration once the job was done!”
Driven by pure survival instinct, the man turned on his employer without hesitation.
“I had nothing against the people in Villa 50. Why would I go after them for no reason? You hated her because she beat you up and because you thought she was trying to steal Mr. Robinson from you…”
“Shut up! That’s not true! It’s not!”

The commotion drew more than half the neighborhood.

When everyone saw the once-pampered young woman covered in filth, they quickly covered their noses and backed away.
Even Camila’s closest friends were among the crowd. The closer they once claimed to be, the more obvious their disgust was now. Some of them even seemed secretly pleased to see her humiliated.
Camila knew she was finished. After being seen like this by everyone, she would never be able to show her face in their social circle again.
She hated Nicole with every fiber of her being.
