The Apocalypse Survival Manual (Three Days Before Doomsday, I Stockpiled Billions) novel Chapter 577

Chapter 577

Peter hadn’t brought any tetanus shots, so Marcus went to get them himself.

The Robinsons had some in storage. When Eric first learned about the coming disasters, he had arranged for the family to stockpile a large supply of medicine.

Once they heard Jasper was injured, the Robinsons agreed to provide the vaccine to maintain their relationship with the authorities. It was even imported.

But four years had passed since the apocalypse began. No matter how carefully it had been stored, it was still expired.

Nicole stopped the bleeding, stitched their wounds, and bandaged them. While the Robinsons weren’t looking, she switched out the tetanus vaccine.

“All we can do is try it. With luck, they won’t have a bad reaction.”

Time stood still inside her storage space, so she discreetly replaced the expired doses with the ones she had stockpiled.

Eric asked, “Are their lives in danger?”

“They’ve lost a lot of blood, but they should be alright.”

After quickly weighing his options, Eric said, “The security building isn’t equipped to care for them properly. We’ll move Chief Anderson and the others to our villa, and I’ll make sure they’re looked after.”

Nicole had lived two lives. Of course, she knew what he was trying to accomplish. “Alright. Thank you, Eric. Contact me anytime if there’s a problem.”

As long as Jasper and the others received the best possible care, there was no point worrying about Eric’s motives.

If the Robinsons built a stronger relationship with the authorities, the entire neighborhood might benefit. There was no downside.

So, Jasper and the other officers were moved into the Robinsons’ villa.

Exhausted from everything that had happened, Nicole collected Villa 50’s share of the black moss and returned home with Zeph to rest.

The vehicle was covered in blood, and it took them quite a while to clean it thoroughly.

They turned off the lights and lay in bed, but neither of them could calm down.

If several more mobs like the one they had encountered that day appeared, the police station would eventually be overwhelmed.

The real problem was the shortage of police officers and soldiers. No matter how long they worked without rest, they could never keep up, while the number of rioters seemed endless.
