Chapter 210 Sweet Dream, Commander
Thora had actually fallen asleep against the support bean.
Her head tilted slightly to the side, and for once, she looked adorable.

Tristan found himself laughing quietly. That word had ever belonged to the cold, unyielding Thora.
But right now, that was exactly how she looked to him.
He let out a soft sigh and leaned back, resting both hands behind his head. Without thinking, he shifted a little closer to her.
Tristan looked up at the open blue sky above them, a small smile curving on his lips.
He’d saved that question for later.
Tristan kept staring at the sky, then slowly closed his eyes.
In that still moment, he realized none of the problems he’d been worrying about really mattered.
Sweet dreams, my dear commander.
Thora hadn’t fallen asleep at first. She had only been waiting for Tristan to speak.
But he stayed silent for so long that, once the weariness finally hit her, she drifted off for real.
When Thora woke up, Tristan was already gone. The training field was empty except for her.
Just then, a message came in. Ashton was asking her approval for leave.
This was a rest period for Wolffang anyway. Anyone who needed time off only had to notify her before leaving the base.
At the same time, in Violet Estate.
“Alpha.” Carl handed a stack of documents to Darius.
Darius took them and skimmed through at lightning speed.
The more he read, the sharper his eyes became.
“Alpha,” Carl reported, “when we tailed Laurel, we found that the person she met has been in contact with her since 18 years ago. And judging from their moves, their real target seems to be the Greens.”
“The Greens?” Yereah, sitting to the side, spoke up.
“What’s the matter?” Darius looked at him, voice low. “Do you know something?”
Yereah shook his head. “Not really. I’m just curious. If those people were aiming at the Greens all this time, why act through Laurel? And why spend so many years planning? It can’t just be to ruin the Greens. Are they trying to get something from them?”
He was only guessing.
Yereah came to Violet Estate today just to check on Darius, but he ended up walking right into Darius

A cold look crossed Darius’s face. His eyes darkened. “You’re right. They really are trying to get something from the Greens.”
Yereah frowned at that. “Who are they?”
Darius lifted his gaze and looked at him. The look in his gaze said everything without a single word spoken.
Yereah’s expression sharpened at once, as if he had touched something forbidden. His voice dropped. “It’s
them?”
Darius didn’t deny it. Clearly, even he didn’t want to talk about those people.
He finished reading the documents, tossed them into the shredder, and destroyed them.
“My father once told me, the Greens of the Silverleaf Pack were different. They were the only family that had contact with that person before he vanished. Those people never dared to touch that pack, because one wrong move could make another group rise out of the shadows. They’d rather wait 18 years than set off that firestorm.”
Yereah crossed his legs and thought hard. He knotted his brows and asked, “What do they want from the Greens?”
Darius tapped his fingers lightly on the desk, coldness sharpening his eyes. “We may need to ask Marlon to get the answer.”
Darius suddenly changed the topic. “The hair sample I gave you last time-did the DNA results come back?”
Yereah perked up right away. “Oh, don’t get me started. Did you already know Thora and Norman weren’t related? Were you expecting this?”
