The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 285

Chapter 285 The Ratings

Tristan finally understood what Thora meant and replied, “Got it.”

She wanted those two kept right here.

Whether they stayed alive or as bodies depended completely on Thora’s mood.

Shirley’s gaze swept over Frost and Sierra. She let out a cold laugh.

If that woman hadn’t reacted so fast, she would’ve already been shot dead.

Too bad Sierra was also an ability user. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have survived.

Frost glared back at Shirley, his eyes full of rage. “Damn it. I’ll kill her one day!”

Sierra frowned. “I didn’t come here to kill people. Frost, if all you want is a fight, then leave now. Ashwolf’s members aren’t easy targets.”

She glanced at Thora but didn’t dare test her with mental energy. “Ashwolf’s boss is here too.”

As she spoke, Sierra wrapped cloth around her wound and pulled it tight to stop the bleeding.

Seeing the injury on her shoulder, Frost’s anger flared. “Idiot! I came here for you, and now you’re telling me to leave?!”

Sierra’s gaze dimmed slightly. “I never asked you to follow me.”

She knew Frost attacked Ashwolf partly because of old grudges and partly to earn credit, so she could avoid Corey’s punishment later.

But for Sierra, this trip was just about finding another way to live-something other than being a thief or

assassin.

Running into Ashwolf, their old enemy, was pure coincidence.

Frost snorted and stepped closer, lowering his voice. “Without me, do you really think you could survive alone?”

Sierra froze, stunned into silence.

“So what if Ashwolf’s boss is here?” Frost shot a vicious glare at Thora and her group. “We’ll kill her someday! And that brat who sniped you-I’ll make her pay!”

Sierra lowered her head and said nothing, clearly deep in thought.

Ashley glanced at Sierra, then back at Thora, the emotion in her eyes fading.

Draven hadn’t moved the whole time, but when Thora came closer, his eyes were already open.

His

gaze rested on her. The red in his pupils flickered, then disappeared as he looked away and closed his eyes again, acting like he was resting.

Behind the mask, his expression showed restrained emotion, impossible to read.

Roman quickly finished counting those who passed the first round. Anyone who arrived late had already lost their chance.

Thora could see it clearly. This round didn’t just remove the weak. It also filtered out the trash mixed in with the candidates.

And beyond that, some people had probably already died.

At its core, it was a life-or-death purge. As long as it didn’t cause public trouble, the academy would never interfere.

She looked at the candidates gasping for breath, some even collapsed from exhaustion. Anyone who wanted to be a soldier had to accept the risk of death.

From the moment they applied to Blue Star Military Academy, it became a life-or-death mission.

Anyone afraid of dying in the very first round didn’t belong here.

Thora understood the academy’s thinking well. Only those who weren’t afraid to die deserved to live.

Valen listened to the report and said heavily, “Only those who aren’t afraid to die deserve to live.”

The statement made the examiner, Jeremy Moore, shudder.

“Are the first-round ratings ready?”

“Yes, sir.” Jeremy respectfully handed over the results.

“Mmm. This year’s freshmen are pretty solid.” Valen nodded and casually tossed the sheet aside.
