Chapter 304 Go!
Finished
Before the words even finished leaving his mouth, a massive force slammed into him. His body was hurled through the air before crashing hard into a tree trunk. He hit the ground a second later, completely immobilized.
Almost at the same time, withered vines on the forest floor surged upward, coiling around his legs and locking him in place.
“Frost!” Sierra stopped instantly. Her figure blurred as she flashed to Frost’s side.
Frost wasn’t dead, but he was temporarily crippled.
Ryan froze, staring blankly at the person beside him. His voice trembled with disbelief. “Tho… Thora?”
Tristan, on the other hand, strode forward without a second thought. His eyes lit up with pure completely ignoring Ryan’s condition as he shouted, “Boss!”
excitement,
From a distance, Draven’s expression shifted slightly. A hint of cold crept into the line of his lips.
Thora glanced at Ryan’s wounds and said flatly, “He won’t die.”
Ryan was dumbfounded.
He has been this close to dying!
The joy drained from Tristan’s face, replaced by frustration. “Boss… Those two…” He lowered his voice. “I couldn’t beat them.”
“I know.” Thora nodded.
Tristan was never going to be their match.
Sierra and Frost had fought together for years. Both were long-awakened ability users, with far greater control and combat experience than him.
Her response eased Tristan’s nerves.
Earlier, he’d felt humiliated. Back when he ran missions with a full team against the thief syndicate, things had been different. Fighting solo and getting crushed left a bitter taste.
Thora turned her attention to Ryan. “Can you handle the pain?”
A blade was still buried in Ryan’s chest, yet he forced himself to stand straight. “Yes!” The moment he spoke, blood spilled from his mouth.
Thora remained silent.
Tristan was speechless. “Are you trying to get yourself killed?”
Ryan pressed his lips together, refusing to answer.
This was his chance to prove himself.

He was a veteran who’d survived countless battlefields. Backing down now wasn’t an option.
Thora nodded. Uttering only a short sentence, “Bear with it.”
“Yes!” Ryan answered loudly.
Tristan’s mouth twitched.
Boss hasn’t even officially taken him in yet, and this guy is already acting like he’s part of the unit.
Harvey was right-this man is clearly trying to climb his way into Wolffang any way
he can.

Thora didn’t waste another word. She reached out and yanked the blade straight out of Ryan’s chest.
The instant the knife came free, her other hand clamped down over the wound.
Tristan reacted fast, already digging through his pack for hemostatic supplies.
Thora pressed the medicine into the wound in sync with him, then wrapped the bandage tight—quick, efficient, and practiced.
In less than a minute, the emergency treatment was done.
Ryan immediately focused, drawing on his wolf power to speed up the healing.
At the same time, Sierra flashed to Frost’s side and hauled him upright. “Are you okay?”
Frost lifted his head, eyes vicious as they locked onto Thora. He was just about to speak when he suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood.
Sierra shot Thora a glance and murmured under her breath, “Ashwolf… Boss…”
She slung one arm around Frost, trying to drag him away-but the moment they moved, a force yanked them both back down. They hit the ground hard.
Only then did Sierra realize something had wrapped around Frost’s ankle, pinning him in place.
Her brow furrowed. She slashed at it with her dagger, cutting it free, and was just about to get up again when a chill ran straight up her spine. Instinct kicked in.
She dropped flat. A short blade skimmed past the top of her head and buried itself deep into the tree behind her. It was the same knife Frost had driven into Ryan earlier.
Thora stared at them, her gaze sharp and burning. A faint curve touched her lips. “I don’t remember saying you were free to leave.”
The words nailed them in place.
Sierra knew it instantly. There was no escaping now.
If Thora hadn’t shown up, maybe-just maybe-they’d have had a chance. But now?
“Sierra, go!” Frost growled. “Get out of here!”
