The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 321

Chapter 321 I Want This Seat

The voice came like a ghost, sudden and cold.

Finished

Thora spun on instinct, swinging her palm sharply, but she hit nothing. The person behind her had already shifted aside, moving so fast only an afterimage remained.

“It’s you.” Thora frowned and slowly pulled her hand back.

The wine glass in her other hand swayed so slightly it was almost imperceptible.

Draven stepped closer, closing the distance between them. The way he stood felt almost intimate, yet he maintained just enough distance.

Thora squinted and turned back to look down at the lively scene below.

Most candidates were between 18 and 25, young and full of energy.

At such a swimsuit party, nearly everyone was showing off their most attractive side. Soon, men and women had paired off, enjoying temporary companionship.

“You still haven’t answered me,” Draven said, leaning against the railing beside her.

From their position above the hot spring pool, everything below was clearly visible.

“That’s none of your business,” Thora replied flatly.

He studied her for a moment before continuing. “Aren’t you even a little curious about my connections to the Nightclaw Pack … and Darius?”

Thora turned to him, her sharp, icy eyes cutting through the silver mask. “That has nothing to do with me. That’s your business.”

“What about Darius?” he pressed.

Thora suddenly smiled as she looked at him. “His business is my business. But-”

Her eyes sharpened like blades. “Are you Darius?”

Draven froze, then a wicked smile spread across his lips. “If I said I was, would you believe me?”

Thora didn’t answer. She looked back at the scene below.

To Draven, her silence said it all.

“You like Darias,” he stated coldly.

“No.” Thora denied it without hesitation. “He likes me.”

Draven went silent.

“But I like that,” she added casually.

Draven’s smile faltered.

Once he processed what she meant, his lips pressed together tightly.

Thora meant she liked Darius, and Darius liked her. It was mutual.

“Thora! Come down here!”

Suddenly, Shirley waved up at her from below.

She wore a modest one-piece, unlike the other revealing swimsuits. She looked innocent and sisterly, stirring no thoughts beyond affection.

Tristan and Ryan were also downstairs, each lying back on a lounge chair.

The difference was that Tristan was alone, while Ryan had girls hanging off both arms. He looked so happy that his eyes were shut in pleasure.

When Thora didn’t answer, Shirley called her name again.

Thora lifted a hand slightly as a response.

“Are you going down?” Draven’s voice turned cold.

“Got a problem with that?” Thora replied calmly, a subtle threat hidden in her tone.

“My brother wouldn’t like it if you got involved with those people,” Draven said, his words sharp.

With her back to him, Thora just said flatly, “Oh.”

Then she turned and strode straight for the spiral staircase.

Draven stayed still for a moment. Behind the mask, his face tightened like a drawn bowstring. Then he took a long step and followed her.

As soon as Thora appeared, most eyes at the party turned to her.

Even though it was a swimsuit party, no one followed a strict dress code.

She wore a plain white undershirt, black military pants, and combat boots. Simple as it was, the outfit couldn’t hide her youthful handsomeness or the untouchable aura she gave off.

Shirley rushed over and linked her arm through Thora’s, as if claiming her.

Thora walked to a small canopy and took a seat.

Tristan followed, planning to sit across from her, but someone had already taken the spot.

“You-” Tristan had never seen anyone that rude to steal a spot.

Draven sat down with a trace of coldness and completely ignored Tristan. He poured a glass of juice with effortless grace, acting as if he belonged there.

Thora frowned slightly, glancing at him.

“Sorry,” Draven said coolly. “I want this seat.” His eyes flicked to Tristan, a hint of challenge in them.
