Chapter 322 Who’s Better?

Ashley had the perfect spot on the terrace, giving her a clear view of the hot spring and the whole hotel.
She leaned against the railing casually, a glass of red wine in her hand.
Thora’s gaze sharpened slightly. What exactly was Ashley’s purpose for coming to Blue Star Military Academy?
The wind caught Ashley’s hair as she looked down at Thora, a small smile on her lips, raising her glass in a silent toast.
This time, Thora didn’t respond. Ashley just chuckled and looked elsewhere.
Thora followed her line of sight.
In the sky garden of another building, three men were sitting together, chatting idly. They were Roxen, Mike, and Carlos.
“Isn’t this usually your kind of scene?” Roxen teased, glancing at the party below. “Why aren’t you down there?”
Mike shrugged while sipping. “I don’t want future juniors calling me the creepy upperclassman.”
Carlos smiled. “This year’s candidates are really impressive.”
“Yeah, but no one is as solid as Roxen,” Mike said confidently. He added, “Except maybe a few seniors on the third-year board.”
Carlos didn’t argue. Roxen was the pride of the second-year class-outstanding across the board, with no weak points. He had been the strongest student of the previous cohort. Everyone knew it.
Roxen leaned back with his hands behind his head, his fair skin looking even smoother under the lights. “I still don’t think those two assassins were the hunters we were after.”
If he was right, the real hunter was still hiding among the candidates.
“It doesn’t matter. We’ll deal with what’s in front of us,” Mike said with easy optimism. “If the real one is still around, they’ll slip up eventually.”
Roxen’s emerald-green eyes narrowed slightly. “You’re right.”
Those two had killed people regardless, and punishment was inevitable. They’d only escaped due to those three’s carelessness.
As for the hunter? If they were truly among the candidates, the academy would deal with it. He didn’t need to worry too much.
Ashley took another slow sip of wine, lips curved faintly.
Thora looked away, confusion clouding her thoughts. Why were they even here?
Roxen, who’d been resting with his eyes closed, suddenly opened them. Someone was watching, not hostile,

but noticeable.
He smirked. It looked like someone was watching them.
Draven scanned the scene, expression unreadable-until he looked at Thora. His eyes brightened.

The hot spring party was in full swing. Quite a few young men and women who had hit it off were already holding each other close, heading back together.
Thora and Draven sat in a corner in regular clothes, looking oddly out of place.
Draven stayed silent, so quiet that he almost seemed invisible. Only the gloved fingers beneath the table tapped lightly against his thigh out of habit.
Then he suddenly remembered he was Draven now, not Darius. He immediately stopped the habit that belonged to Darius.
“What are you looking at?” Draven suddenly asked.
“Bodies,” Thora replied flatly, her gaze still roaming.
Draven’s eyes tightened, annoyance in his tone. “Enjoying the view?”
“Not bad,” she said, the faintest hint of a smile.
To her, bare skin revealed weakness and flaws. Physical condition wasn’t everything, but a good soldier had to possess a strong body in both human and werewolf form.
Blue Star Military Academy was an officer-training institution. Those candidates would all be held to military standards in the future. She was simply taking the opportunity to know her potential peers and rivals.
Draven’s jaw clenched at her answer.
He suddenly leaned closer, his voice low enough that only the two of them could hear. His tone carried an intimate edge. “That’s only because you haven’t seen mine. Once you do, everyone else will seem boring.”
Thora raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “So who’s better-yours or Darius’s?”
Draven frowned beneath his mask, then smirked with possessive eyes. “Try me. Then you’ll know.”
Just then, Mona walked over in a bikini, flanked by two men in swim trunks. When she spotted Thora, she stopped.
