Chapter 323 Getting Picked On
Mona’s anger exploded. “You bastard!”
Thora didn’t bother arguing. She just said, “Oh.”
That indifferent response only fueled Mona’s rage.

“You’re just too ugly to be seen!” Mona snapped sharply. “Your body must be terrible! That’s why you’re hiding it! If you’ve got guts, take your clothes off! Otherwise, it just proves you’re too embarrassing to look at!”
Thora’s brow twitched slightly. She looked at Draven seriously. “Sounds like she’s talking about you.”
He paused, thin lips parting. “Is that so?”
That was when Mona finally noticed Draven. She snapped, “I wasn’t talking about you. Don’t flatter yourself!”
Thora looked as if she’d just realized something. “So you’re saying I’m ugly? That I don’t dare show myself?”
Everyone turned their attention. Some were here for the drama, others were trying to gauge the strength of those contenders. The further the test went, the stronger the ones who stayed. Knowing potential rivals or allies was important for every move afterward.
Ryan glanced over. “Looks like Boss is getting picked on.”
Tristan corrected him. “That’s my boss.”
“Fine. Your boss is getting picked on.”
Tristan replied flatly, “We’re used to it.”
Shirley just kept eating and drinking nearby, glancing over without much reaction.
Ryan went quiet.
Mona crossed her arms, showing off her curves. “Yeah. I’m talking about you.”
Thora scoffed. “Are you blind?”
“What did you say?!” Mona practically jumped with rage.
“If you’re not blind, how could you think I’m ugly?” Thora asked earnestly.
The onlookers were stunned. Was she bragging?
“You-you bastard!” Mona could only shriek the same words over and over.
Last time she’d been embarrassed, now she was humiliated in front of many people again. Once she entered the academy, she’d be a joke!
“Teach this jerk a lesson!” Mona shouted.

Being a Count’s descendant from the Celerion Empire, Mona had reached the second round and acted cocky because of her bodyguards. From the original five down to three, their strength far surpassed most candidates without family or pack backing.
Thora’s eyes turned cold. She grabbed the tablecloth and yanked it the second they rushed her.
It happened so fast that no one could react.
She sprang up, flung the cloth over one man’s head, and twisted it tight. He was instantly strangled into muffled whimpers.
At the same time, Thora dodged the other two. Still gripping the man wrapped in cloth, she lashed out with a long kick and sent him flying straight into the hot spring pool.
She attacked without warning or hesitation.
The remaining two exchanged a glance and charged again.
Before their punches landed, Thora and Draven grabbed their arms from either side.
Without a word exchanged, both of them twisted their wrists simultaneously.
Two sharp cracks rang out, followed by screams of pain.
One tried to counter with a kick. Thora shifted her weight and pushed lightly forward. Off balance, he stumbled back, slipped, and splashed into the pool.
At the same time, Draven exerted sudden force. It felt as though the man’s entire arm had shattered. His screams echoed through the air.
Draven’s lips curved slightly. With a casual shove, he sent the man flying like a cannonball straight into the pool.
All three bodyguards ended up soaked and humiliated.
Mona’s face darkened. Snorting, she got into a fighting stance and swung her leg at Thora, trying to take her head-on.
Her moves weren’t bad, but that was all.
Thora caught her ankle with one hand, stopping her completely.
That position drew whistles from a few rowdy men nearby.
