Chapter 326 Thunder

Thora squinted at the files, scanning them fast. She tried piecing together some pattern, looking for any odd connection hidden in the scattered details.
But in the end, nothing came up. There was no hint that Evelyn had ever carried twins-nothing Thora wast looking for.
Draven said he was Darius’s younger brother. If Luke’s info was fake, then considering how insanely similar they looked, they’d have to be identical twins.
Yet Darius had never once mentioned a brother.
Back at the villa, he had deliberately told her to make sure she remembered him. Was he worried she’d mix him up with Draven?
Three ideas came to mind. First, Draven and Darius were identical twins. Second, Draven was a clone. Third, the two of them were-
The thought of the third option made Thora’s expression go cold.
Whatever it was, there could only be one Darius in the world.
Still thinking, Thora walked back to her room.
The door opened into darkness, with just a thin streak of light from the window brushing the curtains.
She closed the door and locked it behind her.
After only two steps, she caught faint, ragged breathing in the room, like some wounded animal gasping.
Her eyes glinted in the dark, sharp and cold.
Without hesitation, she yanked the blanket off the bed. Someone was there.
The moment she lifted it, her wrist was grabbed. A strong pull dragged her onto the bed.
Thora lost her balance and fell forward, landing not on a mattress but on a firm, yielding body. They fit together perfectly.
She tried to get up, but hands like iron clamped her waist, and even her legs were pinned.
“We’ve barely been apart, and you already won’t even let me touch you?” a teasing voice said.
Thora jerked her head up. In the dim light, she saw the handsome face reflected in her eyes.
“Darius?” she asked, surprised and unsure.
He watched her with a smile. “You recognized me?”
Thora’s gaze turned icy. “Like hell I did. You’re fake!”
She cursed and kicked hard, trying to break free, but her strength was useless in that position. He held her

Draven’s eyes turned icy, a red glow flashing through them. The force holding Thora tightened, his voice dripping with danger. “Fake?”
Thora sneered. “Blue Star Military Academy keeps the freshman trials secret. They change every round. No. matter how skilled Darius is, it would take time to get here. There’s no way he’s in my room this fast.”
Suddenly, Draven flipped over, pinning her beneath him. His right hand shot up, clamping around her throat, fingers tightening.
His breath grazed her cheek as he spoke slowly, each word deliberate. “Since you figured me out, you’d better remember me the way you remember him. I’m Draven-not Darius, and definitely not his knockoff.”
A cold, wicked smile curved his lips. His pupils glowed crimson, faint black energy swirling within them, as if he were merging with the darkness itself.”You must remember me more than him.”
Thora stared at him, expressionless.
Darius would never have that jealous, murderous glare.
Something felt off, but she couldn’t put her finger on it. She freed a hand, grabbed his wrist, and tried to push him away.
Boom!
Lightning split the sky, thunder roaring. Draven’s face shifted, and his grip loosened.
Boom!
Another deafening clap followed. He collapsed onto the bed, clutching his ears in terror.
More rumbles followed, and rain began pouring down, the thunder still echoing.
