Chapter 330 Team Up
Inside the game.
Thora appeared in a ruined corner of Rovelle City, materializing on top of a stone slab.

“Thora, wake up. Are you okay?” Amie’s concerned voice came through their mind-link, pulling Thora’s consciousness out of the haze.
“I’m fine.”
She opened her eyes. The sky was dark gray, and the air carried a faint stench of decay and blood.
“If I didn’t know this was a game, I’d almost feel like we’re back in the apocalypse,” Amie murmured.
“Yeah, it smells pretty similar,” Thora replied, sitting up and squinting at the sky.
Still, it wasn’t the same.
The apocalypse she’d survived before had been caused by the lunar energy core collapsing. Wild lunar energy ripped through the atmosphere, creating countless mutant werewolves.
A blood-red moon hung in the sky forever, bathing the land in a cold, crimson glow, stripping werewolves of any sense of reason. They became nothing but bloodthirsty beasts.
They had no consciousness or mercy. Whenever they saw a living being, they’d attack, tear it apart, and eat it. The whole world was soaked in blood and despair.
But this game’s apocalypse came from a virus spreading among humans. She’d figure out the rest once she explored more.
“Thora, my power has been weakened a lot. I can’t use my abilities at all,” Amie said.
Thora stretched as she stood up. Her mind and muscle memory were intact, but Amie’s special power, her awakened abilities, and this body’s superhuman strength were all gone.
Basically, when players entered the game, they only kept physical memory and basic combat instincts. Everything else was wiped. Wolf spirit levels didn’t help, abilities were sealed, and body enhancements didn’t exist either.
Clearly, the third round of the exam was testing overall combat skill-things like strategy, adapting on the spot, and making tough choices under pressure.
“Map,” she said. A floating map appeared instantly.
It showed the interior of Rovelle City. Areas outside the city were marked in gray, indicating the edge of the
world.
Rovelle City was huge. She was in a remote northwest section-empty, sparse, and deserted.
Meanwhile, red zones at the borders were infection hotspots. That was where she could earn the most points.

Chapter 330 Team Up
“Leaderboard,” Thora said again. A real-time ranking popped up.
Even though the game had just started, a few players were already ahead by over ten points.

Most had changed their usernames, making them hard to spot. Only a few kept their real names, like Ashley and Number 79-Draven.
Thora scanned the area. With no one around, she needed to reach the city center as soon as possible.
She preferred to hunt players over monsters. Players were worth way more points.
Suddenly, a system notification popped up. “Player Number 79 requests to team up with you.”
Thora frowned. How did he know her character’s name?

“Decline.”
But every time she rejected it, he kept sending requests, seriously disrupting her gameplay.
Finally, she said, “Accept.”
Draven joined the team and appeared right beside her immediately. Team members could teleport to each other anytime.
In-game avatars looked almost like real people, with just minor tweaks.
Draven wasn’t masked, his handsome face showing a bit of displeasure. “Why did you reject me?”
“Because-” Thora looked at the face that was identical to Darius’s. She paused, then said coolly, “I don’t like teaming up with idiots.” With that, she turned and headed toward the city center.
“Idiot?”
Draven’s expression darkened. He gritted his teeth and followed her.
Once the team was formed, Draven was in charge. Any new team requests had to go through him.
A notification popped up again. “Ashley requests to join your team.”
Draven’s eyes flashed cold as he rejected it instantly.
Ashley tried repeatedly, but still he rejected. This happened several times.
“Why keep rejecting her?” Thora asked.
Draven replied plainly, “I’m just learning from you.”
She stayed quiet.
Elsewhere in Rovelle City.
