The fight inside the office had already broken out. Draven faced two elite soldiers and a brown- haired officer in uniform.
Mid-exchange, Draven suddenly froze and looked toward Thora.
“Thora-” The name had barely left his mouth when an elite soldier caught him across the face. The impact sent him flying backward.
Before he hit the ground, he twisted midair to absorb the force, landed on one knee, steadied himself, and rose again. His eyes returned to Thora, a faint smile touching his lips. “You made it.”
No wonder he had vanished earlier. He had slipped in ahead of everyone else.
“Intruders. Show no mercy,” the officer ordered coldly.
The two elite soldiers shifted their focus at once, locking onto Thora’s group.
Thora glanced at the glowing computer at the center of the office and lowered her voice. “Luke, watch that terminal. The log should be there.”
Luke gave a quick nod and said nothing.
The two soldiers lunged almost instantly.
Anyone who could trade blows with Draven for that long was no ordinary enemy.
“You can handle them?” Thora asked evenly.
The blond man knew she meant him. He laughed softly and brushed his hair back. “Easy enough.”
Thora moved without hesitation and struck first as the soldiers closed in.
The blond man matched her timing, and together they tied the two soldiers down.
Draven frowned slightly. He had no idea where this blond fighter had come from.
His
eyes shifted to the officer. That man was the final boss of this building. To kill him, the two elite soldiers had to fall first.
At the moment, Thora and the blond man were evenly matched with the soldiers, neither side gaining the upper hand.

It was still a game, after all. Combat ability depended on stats.

Boss-tier enemies were tuned far above normal limits, and taking them down was never simple.
Worse, no one had completed all twelve cards yet. With attributes capped and special abilities locked, victory depended on raw builds and real combat skill.
With all the enemy focus pulled onto Thora and the blond man, Draven was temporarily ignored. Even the officer did not look his way.
“You insects dare trespass on my domain?” the officer sneered. “You are begging to die. I will send you straight to hell.”
He attacked before the words fully settled.
Draven’s expression tightened. His body blurred as he flashed to the officer’s side, forcibly drawing the boss’s attention.
Thora caught the opening instantly. She knew boss fights always followed hidden rules. Some enemies could be crushed by force alone, but when the stat gap was too wide, patterns had to be broken.
“I’ll hold him,” Draven said sharply while dodging attacks. “Kill those two fast. I cannot stall long. Until they are dead, this boss çannot be killed.”
His movements were precise and cold as he spoke.
Thora felt a flicker of doubt, but her strikes grew faster and heavier.
As things stood, the officer could not be defeated yet. Draven stayed on the defensive, slammed across the room again and again by brutal blows.
Thora’s expression hardened. She snapped a dagger into her hand.
“I will lock them down. Circle behind,” the blond man said suddenly.
Thora nodded. The moment he pulled the soldiers’ attention, she slipped past and moved silently to their rear.
Back attacks landed far harder than frontal strikes.
When one soldier’s health dropped to almost nothing, Thora ended him with a single clean hit.
At nearly the same time, the blond man slid behind the other soldier and drove a blade through his neck.
Both elites collapsed.

Another heavy strike sent Draven crashing across the office once more.
Amid the chaos, Luke had already reached the desk. He sat down, placed his hands on the keyboard, and began typing at full speed.
Sensing the terminal’s activation, the officer spun toward Luke, but Thora intercepted him.
She took the hit directly and was thrown back, yet it was enough to pull the boss’s focus onto her.
“How dare you invade my territory!” the officer roared.
Draven stepped in, grabbed Thora’s arm, and pulled her upright.
Using his momentum, Thora regained her footing and locked onto the boss again.
