This boss, however, was massively overleveled and terrifyingly powerful. Even with all three attacking together, they couldn’t push him back even a single step.
The stat disparity stood like an unclimbable wall in front of them.
Luke flicked a glance their way, his hands never slowing as his fingers blurred across the keyboard.
All at once, Thora’s team’s attack power and damage surged sharply, while the officer’s output plummeted.
Less than five minutes later, the officer boss collapsed.
The blond man frowned, clearly confused. “Why did things change so suddenly?” Thora was just as startled, but Draven’s eyes shifted toward Luke.
Luke hit Enter, lifted one hand from the keys, and said plainly, “I adjusted your character stats and his.” The blond man arched a brow. “That explains it.” He turned to Thora and Draven, smiling as he added, “You two fight incredibly well.” Thora inclined her head. “Thanks.”
The blond man studied Thora for a long moment, his look carrying unspoken meaning. Before his smile could fully fade, someone’stepped into his line of sight.
Draven shot him a warning glare, his smile was cocky and dangerous.
The blond man’s green eyes narrowed slightly. Interesting.
Thora missed the silent standoff entirely and walked straight toward Luke. “What’s the
situation?”
Luke’s fingers flew faster, white text cascading endlessly across the black screen.
“I’ve broken into part of the system, but what I accessed earlier was only the character attribute section,” he said calmly, never lifting his eyes.
Thora’s group
waited quietly behind him.
By then, the rest of the examinees had arrived as well. Once the officer died, every guard’s combat strength inside the building dropped sharply.
On top of that, Thora’s earlier orders had already boosted the examinees’ fighting power. After she moved on, Lance’s commands pushed their efficiency even further.
Before long, they cleared out the remaining soldiers and advanced to the twelfth floor.

The moment they entered, they saw several fallen bosses scattered across the floor, Thora’s trio standing composed, and Luke seated at a desk, hammering away at the keyboard.
Something about the scene quieted them. Voices died the instant they stepped inside.
The curious crowded closer to watch Luke work, while others found places to sit and catch their breath.
After such an intense battle, most people desperately needed rest, especially those with poor equipment and weak stats.
Tristan, Ryan, and Shirley also made their way over near Luke.
Ryan spotted Draven and his pupils dilated instantly. But when their gazes met, his brows drew together.
Ashley slipped in next, folded her arms, and leaned against a pillar, her eyes fixed on Thora and Luke.
Luke had never been watched by so many people at once. His hands froze midair. He turned awkwardly. “Uh… could you all stop staring? You’re making me nervous…”
No one spoke.
Luke turned back and forced himself to keep working.
Draven glanced back reflexively and met Ashley’s eyes.
The instant she saw his face, Ashley’s expression shattered, shock hitting her full force.
Darius? What the hell is he doing here?
A former assassination target, appearing in Blue Star Military Academy’s assessment?
“Got it.” Luke’s fingers burst into motion, and the screen flooded with blue-green characters and unfamiliar symbols.
Thora’s expression sharpened. “You’re certain this is it?”
Luke nodded. “Yes. This is the hidden log. The virus program is stored here.”
Their exchange left the surrounding crowd completely confused.
The blond man stayed silent, but disbelief filled his eyes; he had prepared himself for a long wait and barely dared to hope. He hadn’t expected success this fast.

Chapter 349 The Virus
It was Tristan who finally asked, “Luke, where is the virus program located?”
Thora walked toward the floor-to-ceiling window.

Outside, poisonous fog smothered the city. Thick black vapor rolled endlessly, so heavy it felt like it could swallow them at any moment.
Luke stood as well, adjusted his glasses, and explained evenly, “The virus program is hidden outside Rovelle City. More precisely, it’s at the edge of this game world … inside a tower. There’s a secret file at the top. Destroy it, and the virus will be erased. Everything resets.”
His tone stayed calm, but the tension on everyone’s faces tightened instantly.
The edge of the map was swarming with monsters that were packed so densely there was nowhere to even stand.
