Chapter 193 Choosing a Major
He finally didn’t have to walk on eggshells anymore.
“Everyone, please come up and collect your numbered transmog outfit, which represents the uniform of the Divine and Demonic Academy.
“Your uniform is known as the Divine and Demonic Combat Outfit!
“And here are your unique Divine and Demonic Badges. The badges for the top student, the top ten, and the top hundred are gold-colored, silver-colored, and bronze-colored, respectively.
“All other students will receive a black badge.
“Congratulations, you’re now officially students of the Divine and Demonic Academy.”
After a solid month of relentless grinding, their hard work finally paid off.
Everyone stared at the school uniform that materialized in front of them.
Uniforms at the Divine and Demonic Academy-and all academies-were custom-made. Because of permanent copyright protections, no similar transmog outfits could be produced, and even ordinary clothing was not allowed to mimic the uniform’s style.
It was a symbol of the individual student and of the Academy.
The uniforms were elaborate and lavish, even coming with a cloak. Female students could switch between a skirt or pants at will to fit their needs.
Joanna still chose the skirt version, which matched her current gear.
She pinned the gold badge to her chest-it was a symbol of being the top student of her grade.
At that moment, she finally felt at ease.
She had done it!
She had made it into the Divine and Demonic Academy and could finally take cont own life.
Next, all the students assembled.

They were about to head to the real Divine and Demonic Academy, located on the Divine Demonic Planet.

For this trip, they weren’t using a teleport portal. Instead, they’d be traveling by a massive interstellar warship. The journey would take about half a day.
That window was also set aside for them to choose their majors.
In fact, most of them had only ever used teleport portals and had rarely been on a large warship. But warships were essential-fighting other races across the universe cannot be done via teleport.
So, in the Space Alliance, warships were not just for transport-they were powerful weapons of
war.
Letting new Divine and Demonic Academy students travel by warship was also a way to broaden their horizons.
Helen found Joanna and boarded the ship with her.
“Joanna, here’s the Mythic-level upgrade stone I promised. Now you can upgrade your talent to SSS-level.”
“Thank you, Professor Carpenter.”
Joanna accepted the Mythic-level upgrade stone, but did not use it right away.
She wanted to think more about which direction to take for her upgrade.
Plus, she still had more than 50,000 credits, which might be enough to redeem for a Mythic- level skill upgrade stone.
Every class talent was unique, but onr could learn as many skills as they liked. However, even though talents mattered more, the Mythic-level skill upgrade stone was pricier than the talent upgrade stone.
The Mythic-level skill upgrade stone cost 30,000 credits each. The Mythic-level talent upgrade stone was three times more expensive.
On top of that, there was a waitlist for redemption, since so few were ever produced.
Joanna put that aside for now and told Helen about what had happened in the ranking tournament, and about the Evil God’s curse.
Helen instantly grew serious, glancing at the faint mark on Joanna’s neck.
“Evil God marks are tough to erase. You’d need a Mythic-level Dispel. The Divine and Demonic Academy does have someone who can do that, but the professional’s spirit has to surpass the caster’s, or the backlash could be dangerous.

“I recognize that mark. The Evil God who cast it was not particularly powerful. I’ll make a trip to the Evil God Plane. Once I take care of the source, your mark will disappear.
“Don’t worry too much about this, but you do need to be careful for a while. Avoid any dungeons or public dungeons with snake bosses or snake monsters, or you could trigger godbound again.”
Joanna was surprised. Is Professor Carpenter talking about powerful Evil Gods? She acts like killing one is no big deal.
She is seriously impressive.
But Helen’s confidence reassured Joanna, so she paid little mind to the mark.
