Chapter 200 A New Dungeon
“Whoa, it’s hell difficulty, and it is rated suitable for levels 25 to 59. That’s a huge level range. This dungeon is weird. Anyone want to clear it with me?”
“Clearing a new dungeon? That’s basically suicide. I’d rather go hunt down a few criminals.”
Taking out criminals was way easier than running a dungeon.
These folks weren’t exactly experts at dungeon clearing.
Joanna was a little shocked. This was her first time seeing how a dungeon actually formed.
Before, she only knew the theory. Dungeons spawned by siphoning energy from an area through special means.
She never realized this energy actually came from divine
power.
The power of the Evil God lingered forever. Only by creating dungeons could humans slowly wear it down.
The former archer captain, Fern, had been waiting nearby the whole time. When the dungeon appeared, he nodded.
“Not bad, a hell-level dungeon. It’s worth exploring. But it’s strange-the party limit is low. Only five people. Anyone want to clear it with me?” Fern’s eyes landed on Joanna.
Joanna was wearing a cloak, but Fern recognized her.
“I remember you. You’re only level twenty-five. Want to try this dungeon? You’ll level up fast, and since there’s a wide level gap, the monsters probably vary a lot, or there are other requirements. Maybe it needs low-level players. I’ll take you along if you’re up for a challenge. It’s perfect since there are four of you-I won’t need to call anyone else.”
Fern took Nighthowl and the others as Joanna’s teammates.
Joanna thought about it, then nodded.
“Thank
you,
Fern!”
Fern noticed the outline of Joanna under her cloak. He could tell she was a girl. She was only level 25, yet she had already started working as a bounty hunter, so he instantly pictured her as a tough, lone underdog.
That made him want to help her out even more.

Chapter 400 A NEW Dungeon
“Fern, I’m a summoner. These three are my contract beasts, so you can add three more people to your party.”
Joanna explained.
Fern finally understood. No wonder they all dressed alike.
He added Joanna to the party, then called in three more. There was Riley Walsh, a level 30 shield warrior, Fiona Hamilton, a level 35 paladin, and Rowan Madison, a level thirty-seven
mage.
Their levels weren’t high, but they were close by, so Fern brought them in.
Riley looked nervous. “Fern, am I really up for this? I’ve never run a dungeon with such a high level cap. If the last boss is level 59, I’ll never tank it.”
Rowan chimed in. “I’ve never done a hell-level dungeon either. I forgot everything I learned in school.”
“No healer? My heals are weak,” Fiona said, sounding uneasy.
“It’s fine. You won’t have to do too much. If things go south, just get out right away. Everyone has a substitute scarecrow, right? If you do, we’re good to go.”
Everyone nodded.
Even though they didn’t have enough to upgrade their gear, a substitute scarecrow was basically standard kit for everyone.
They were nervous, but after a few words from Fern, they agreed to go in.
“Your party leader has chosen to enter the dungeon: Bloodmoon Base (Hell-level). This is an uncleared dungeon, with huge risks and unknown rewards. No entry fee. Do you want to enter together?”
“Yes!”
Once they answered, teleportation power swept over Joanna and Nighthowl’s group, pulling them into the dungeon.
“Ding!”
An elevator bell sounded.
Joanna looked around and saw eight people in the elevator.
