Chapter 213 After the Silver Moon
He ran to the guard office and grabbed the basic loudspeaker. He shouted for everyone to step outside and bathe in the silver moonlight, telling them it would heal their bodies.
One hour later, the silver moon faded.
The townspeople filled the streets, cheering. When the silver light vanished, many felt a deep sense of loss. They already missed it.
Then something unexpected happened. The silver moon turned into a sun, and warm, gentle sunlight poured down, soft on the skin and carrying a sense of growth and renewal.
High in the sky, the powerful figure with golden skin, silver hair, and black-and-white wings scattered something over the town.
As the sunlight fell, those things took root along the streets.
Seeds.
Seeds that were almost impossible to find in the wasteland. Seeds that normally couldn’t survive. They sank into the ground, sprouted, grew into trees, and finally bore fruit.
Another hour passed, and Joanna’s Symbiotic Fusion time ended.
She released the fusion and descended from the sky.
By then, the entire town was covered in green.
What Joanna had scattered were fruit seeds she had collected over time-mostly common seeds, Iron-tier, and Bronze-tier.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to plant higher-tier seeds. Those required much more energy. The soil here was too poor and polluted. One hour was not enough to force them to mature.
There was also another reason. Power attracts trouble.
If she left Silver-tier fruit behind, its value would be too high. Greedy people might fight over
These fruit trees would only bear a single harvest. Without the effect of Verdant Bloom, they would slowly turn into ordinary trees after a few years or even die.
This was only a short-term supply to help the town survive.
Still, after this attack, the town had changed completely.

They now had a high-level dungeon. They could control dungeon access, share energy profits, and even build a new Dungeon Plaza. That would bring more people to this Wasteland Star and help reshape it.
During these two hours, the Space Alliance had already sent professionals.
The area had been officially converted into a dungeon zone.
When Joanna arrived with her contract beast, a large crowd had gathered. Vince saw her from afar and pointed at her. “This is the Goddess you’ve been looking for.”
When Tom saw Joanna, he didn’t dare look straight at her face. Even a brief glance told him she was beyond stunning.
More than that, the power she held felt like a miracle.
“Goddess,” Tom said, his voice trembling. “My name is Tom Waters. I’m the mayor of Voidreach Town. On behalf of the 6,289 survivors, I thank you for giving us a second life.”
As he spoke, he moved to bow.
The others behind him followed, preparing to bow as well.
Joanna could not allow that.
What she had done was simple for her. If they bowed, she would only feel awkward.
“There’s no need for this,” Joanna said. “I’m not a Goddess. I’m a student from the academy. You can call me Joanna or Ms. Lane.”
She controlled Lash Purgatory, a skill that could restrain and attack. With enough understanding and mastery, it could transform into many uses.
Invisible mental force extended like tendrils. Tom and the others were lifted up at once. No one could bow. Their backs were even forced straight in midair.
This only made them more frightened and more respectful.
Joanna was far too powerful.
Tom quickly said, “Then … may I call you Ms. Joanna?”
Joanna hesitated for only a moment, then nodded.
Tom grew emotional. “Thank you. Truly, thank you. You saved us, drove away the Evil God’s saints, healed the survivors, and gave us natural food. These gifts are priceless. But our town

has nothing we can offer in return.”
Tom wanted to present some gifts, but they were simply too poor. This was a typical Wasteland Star.
The Space Alliance took it in, judged it to have no development value, and left it alone. Nearly a hundred years had passed. Not a single person had ever left the planet. Their strength declined, and information stopped flowing. They didn’t even know what the outside world was like.
