Chapter 214 Crimson Moon Invasion
“Crimson Moon Invasion (Level 10-15, Nightmare Tier): Survive for 48 Hours.”
An apocalyptic dungeon is a type of dungeon focused on survival in extreme conditions. Once players clear it, they gain special bonus attributes that help them resist harsh environments.
The academy even has a major dedicated to Apocalyptic Dungeons. Students in this program are not always the strongest fighters, but they are the best survivors.
Several of Rhoda’s former teammates-the girls she used to run with-had chosen this major.
Joanna nodded. That made sense for people living in the wasteland.
“Of course, there are higher-level dungeons too.”
“Evil God’s Stone Hand (Level 20-30, Hard Tier).
“Crush the Crimson Moon (Level 30-40, Nightmare Tier).
“Duel! Bloodmoon Saintess (Level 40-50, Hell Tier).”
Because the disaster affected such a wide area, many dungeons formed this time.
Those stone hands were extremely creepy. They were remnants of the Evil God’s power, much like the stone pillars in Bloodmoon’s underground temple that froze space itself.
They wouldn’t disappear easily. Only after the dungeons were cleared again and again and all resources inside were taken would the stone hands finally vanish.
Right now, the area around the dungeon looked eerie. Among the ruins, stone hands covered the ground.
Tom had already sent people to seal off the area. The plan was to turn it into a Dungeon Plaza.
These things were too unsettling. Letting low-level professionals see them was dangerous. They could easily be tempted by the Evil God.
“Oh, right,” Vince said. “Joanna, your level is too low to enter these zone-type dungeons. But the system issued a special pass. We decided to give it to you.” He paused, then asked eagerly, “The first clears for these dungeons haven’t been done yet. Want to go together?”
Vince handed her a special item.
“Special Dungeon Pass: Allows the holder to lead a team into Crush the Crimson Moon, Duel! Bloodmoon Saintess.”

He looked at Joanna with clear anticipation.
Everyone present knew the truth. None of them could defeat Viola, the Bloodmoon Saintess. Their only option was to rely on Joanna.
Joanna checked the details. Each dungeon allowed up to 20 players, clearly designed for teams.
Because of level restrictions, the Level 20-30 dungeon could not be entered freely. As for the Level 30-40 Nightmare dungeon, the bounty hunters nearby did not dare to try.
They were not trained professionals. The final dungeon? They did not even consider it.
“Mr. Dunn,” Joanna said, “would you like to run this dungeon with me? I plan to bring the town mayor as well. Mayor, pick high school students from the town. Gather 17 people. With the three of us, that makes a full team.”
“Yes! Yes!” Tom nodded rapidly. “I’ll take care of it right away!”
He had been a little disappointed earlier. Joanna had not shown much interest in his thanks, nor had she talked to him much.
He never expected her to bring him into a dungeon run. Soon, Tom gathered the surviving high school students. But when he counted them, only 13 were left.
That was normal. Without the system, there were no attribute points. How could ordinary people survive under the Crimson Moon’s influence?
In the entire town, the elderly and the
very young were all gone.
With no other choice, Tom brought in a few professors to fill the team.
After hearing his explanation, Joanna did not comment much. She formed the party and entered the dungeon first. Evil God’s Stone Hand (Level 20-30, Hard Tier).
The moment they entered, Joanna realized they were inside a school.
This school was very close to where Viola had created her circle. When the Evil God’s Stone Hand attacked, it had appeared here. Now, transformed into a dungeon, this was the area they had to explore.
Once inside, something unexpected happened.
There were humans here. They had become NPCs within the dungeon, much like what had happened before under the gaze of an unknown god. Living people existed inside the dungeon.

The group appeared inside a male dormitory.
A professor shouted in panic, “Something’s wrong! My arm is turning to stone! Quick, get out! Leave the school, or everyone’s hands will petrify!”
This was clearly a key clue.
