The Battle Queen They Blindly Kicked Out (Joanna) novel Chapter 305

Chapter 305 Breach Point

The four of them were clearly prepared. They moved together in perfect sync. They couldn’t break the shield, but they focused their damage on its weakest node. The barrier melted open, just enough for entry. One by one, they dropped into the base city.

The city was empty. The prison guards had already gone into hiding to save themselves. Most of the prisoners were still locked down and under automated control.

Viola moved fast. She unlocked the cells and released the prisoners.

“I would bleed your blood. Offer your souls. Pledge your faith to our god!”

She shouted as she slammed a massive teleportation circle onto the ground.

Some prisoners rushed out eagerly. They offered blood, swore loyalty, and followed the evil god. Others stayed where they were. They hadn’t done anything serious. If they escaped now, it wouldn’t be months or years of prison sentence. It would be life.

One inmate in this very base had a sentence of 529 years. That was prison until death.

Viola and the others kept opening doors as they pushed deeper inside. At last, they reached Cedric’s cell.

Lucas shouted, “Cedric!”

Cedric jumped to his feet. His whole body trembled with excitement.

“Lucas! You came for me! I knew it! I knew you’d find a way! The moment you made me contract with the new god, I knew you’d come back. But this fast? One week? That’s insane. Get me out now. Dammit! After I escape, I swear I’ll kill Joanna. You have no idea what she did to me. I suffered like hell in here.”

“Did you?”

A cold female voice cut in. It wasn’t Viola’s voice.

They all turned toward the sound.

A woman stood there. She had long purple hair and wore an elegant, refined gown.

For a split second, they felt like they were looking at Viola again.

Then they saw her face. It was Joanna.

Joanna used to have brown hair; now it was purple.

Viola used to have purple hair. Now it was red.

It had only been a month since they last met, but seeing her again gave them a good scare.

Viola screamed, “Run!”

But she didn’t run.

She self-destructed.

Boom. Her body detonated in a violent blast. Cedric was killed on the spot.

He had wished for death for a long time. Now it finally came. In a way, he was free.

Still, it wasn’t the ending he wanted. He thought Viola arrival meant escape. Instead, it was death.

At least he was no longer a prisoner.

Three people survived the explosion.

Lucas. Bruce. Neil.

A shadow streaked through the air.

Troy had entered the field.

Lucas and Bruce reacted instantly. They self-destructed without hesitation.

Only Neil remained. Troy grabbed him mid-cast.

An Anti-Magic Field snapped into place. All the violent fire elements inside Neil were sealed. His self-destruct was canceled.

Neil was captured.

At first, his expression changed.

Then, he relaxed. He looked oddly calm, like he doesn’t care what would happen to him.

“Well,” he said with a light laugh, “looks like I’m the one going to prison this time.” His eyes shifted to Joanna. He looked her up and down, a hint of admiration in his gaze.

“You’re way prettier than in high school. Back then, all you wore were school uniforms and workout clothes. We told you to buy a dress. You refused. You said we were broke and all the money had to go into the team. I said pleasing us was good for morale. You said no.

“Look at you now. earned our love?”

MAC us. AU

He laughed. “Relax, Joanna. We never loved her. She was just an old woman useful for power. You were always my favorite.”
