Chapter 443 Negotiation
“No. 1 Prodigy has already taken down four divine spirits.”
“Actually, it’s five. One of them was a minor evil god. I bet you didn’t know that.”

“Joanna, are you interested in joining the Demonic Continent hunt? The Demon Supreme controls the Heavenly Laws of erasure, death, and soul. That seems perfect for your Resurrection Temple.”
Joanna glanced at the chat. The person tagging her was Skelefreak, the one running the Demonic Continent hunt.
Joanna remembered Skelefreak from her recent research into Resurrection Temple Laws. He had left an impression on her.
His class was Necromancer.
He had reached the Lich King stage and was already level 132. He was also the CEO and president of Madsea Funeral Services.
He used to go by Madsea. After reaching Lich King, he changed his name to Skelefreak.
Madsea Funeral Services wasn’t a regular funeral business. They specialized in buying and selling corpses.
In the Space Alliance, using every resource was a positive thing. That included corpses.
Whenever a new world got opened up, the ones with weak human signals were nearly wiped out. Those places ended up littered with bodies.
Skelefreak gathered those bodies as materials. He sold them to other Necromancers.
Even if all he did was sell them for use in the Bone Detonation skill, he made a huge profit.
His Social Level was high, so he got Attribute Points as a reward for making a contribution to society.
His own Attribute Points were on the low side, though. Lich Kings had bodies made of death. He should have the Undying Netherform skill.
Joanna took a moment to think. She asked, “How are we splitting the loot after we kill the Demon Supreme?”
Skelefreak’s hopes went up right away.

“There’s a system record. Loot gets split based on how much damage,, healing, or tanking you do. The more you contribute, the more you get. If you can bring a Mythic-tier class in, they get ten percent off the top.”.
Joanna asked. “Are there any other Mythic-tier players joining?”
Skelefreak’s psychic reply was slower this time.
“Uh, not right now.”
This guy was really out of his mind.
Still, Joanna could see why. He really wanted the Demon Supreme’s Law fragment..
Joanna said, “If there isn’t a Mythic-tier at the moment but I bring one in, the Mythic-tier gets fifty percent. You probably know who I’d call. The other half is based on contribution. If I do a lot of damage, I get extra loot. If everyone agrees, I’ll join. If not, just forget about it.””
Everyone in the chat went silent for a moment.
Joanna was displaying remarkable courage.
Skelefreak realized she was even braver than he’d thought.
“We have a team of 5000! The best we can do is 15 percent for you.”
“There are 523 signed up, and you call that a 5000-person team? Without a Mythic-tier, you’re just sending people to their deaths. Why do you need so many extras? Honestly, I don’t even need to work with you. I could just use this info and go with my teacher instead.”
“You’re the one trying to steal my strategy!”
“No, you’re hoping to use my Mythic-tier backup. Let’s be clear. Without a Mythic-tier, nobody will sign up. If I promise my teacher will come, you know your 5000 slots will fill up right away.”
As soon as Joanna finished, people started agreeing with her.
Everyone respected Mythic-tier power.
“Yeah, if God of Demon Sealing joins, count me in.”
“Otherwise, why would I join you just to die?”
“With God of Demon Sealing, we don’t need that many people. Just hand over some of the loot rights. It’s like hiring God of Demon Sealing. Without Joanna, you wouldn’t even have a shot at getting God of Demon Sealing.”

“Keep in mind, you’re not hiring me. You’re hiring a god. You think you can just order a divine spirit to work for you for 10 percent? What are you thinking? If any other divine spirit asked for SO percent, would you say yes?”
Skelefreak gave in.
“Joanna, this is the first time we’ve spoken, and I’m impressed. Fine. If you can convince Helen to join, you can have control over loot distribution.”
“Alright, I’ll reach out to her.”
Joanna switched to Helen’s communicator.
“Ma’am, I need a hand with something.”
Helen looked over the details and agreed right away. “No problem. I’ve been in the lab too long. Hastor’s been getting restless.”
Hastor was an evil god. He always had the urge to kill. Taking down powerful beings made him even stronger and gave him access to more Laws.
Sometimes, high-level enemies were just resources.
With Helen on board, Skelefreak’s signup sheet filled up almost instantly.
“When I asked you all to sign up earlier, no one wanted in. Now that a divine spirit is joining, everyone’s eager. You all just want to take the easy way out, don’t you?”
“What do you mean, easy way out? If you had to choose between a task with a 0.1% success rate and one with 99.9%, which would you pick?”
“New divine spirits are better anyway. They’re more active. The old ones never let us join their
teams.”
