She did not clear the dungeon. She did not qualify to get into Violetlight University.

Out of 700,000 students, only about ten percent cleared the dungeon. And only around 30,000 made it into Prismbridge University.
“Rhoda, it’s okay,” someone tried to comfort her. “You’re talented. Next year, you can take the SAT again as a non-student worker.”
Rhoda could not accept that.
“Did you know the guide?” she asked sharply. “Have you cleared this kind of dungeon before? Tell me. How did you do it?”
The girls hesitated. They did not want to rub salt in her wound. But Rhoda kept begging, so they finally spoke.
“Didn’t you notice how strange the battlefield was?” one of them said. “Both armies were already dead. Even as spirits, they were still fighting each other. So when assassins or thief pulled enemies, it was best to pull two different types at once. They would fight each other, and we could attack from the side.
“If the assassin was fast enough, they could move across the field early and pull enemies together. By the time we started fighting, the monsters were almost out of health.
“The bosses worked the same way. That’s the clear guide.”
Nearby, teams from other cities nodded in agreement.
eally smart,” someone else added. “At first, we didn’t understand either. We only the boss fight, but by then the difficulty was too high. The SAT is usually easier ly tests, so we knew there had to be a rule we missed.
we thought-both bosses are generals. What if they attack each other? So we pulled n together. The Red Armor General’s flames were frozen by the Blue Armor General, and en the fire melted the ice. The difficulty dropped a lot.
“It’s a shame we figured it out too late. We wasted time clearing normal soldiers. Even though we’re all S-rank, we’ve fallen past rank 10,000.”
This was the peak time for dungeon clears. Teams were everywhere.
Some cleared the dungeon easily and got better scores than usual.

Some were wiped out by the boss in seconds and left in silence.
The SAT now had only one major challenge.
Fail at it, and college was no longer an option.

It felt like a thunderbolt hit Rhoda’s head.
She regretted everything.
Rhoda did not know if Lucas and the others felt the same. But she did. Deeply. If she had not left Roseflare, if she had not been swayed by those four men, she would have gotten into Prismbridge University.
Her eyes landed on Lucas. He looked like a big blockhead in her eyes.
Then she looked at Cedric. He seemed like a clown.
Bruce was even worse. A weak assassin who could not even pull enemies properly.
And Neil, he could not even heal people right. Always picky. Always acting superior. A clean freak who loved to gaslight other people.
“Useless. All of you are useless!” Rhoda shouted. “Why did I ever team up with you? I must have been blind!”
She roared, summoned her interface, and quit the team on the spot.
After high school, teams could still be formed. But she would rather team up with other non- student workers than stay with this useless group ever again.
The others were stunned by her words. Their faces turned dark.
“We were just down on our luck,” Cedric snapped, refusing to back down. “If we fail this year, we try again next year. And so what if we don’t go to college? We work at Amshien Group now. We make money. It’s not worse than college.”
But everyone knew the truth. College had more resources. Students were not forced into exhausting tasks. After graduation, professionals were sent to different worlds as managers. They stood above others.
Non-student workers would never be able to achieve that status in the future.
Lucas clenched his teeth. “It’s fine. We don’t need her. We’ll find someone who works better with us and try again next year.”
