After that, Joanna posted a public statement on her personal page.

At the same time, Amshien Group took the chance to draw a clear line between themselves and David and his wife.
The action was swift and decisive. Instead of hurting the company, it won people over.
[This kind of problem needs to be cut out clean. I support Amshien Group.]
[This is how a real big company should act.]
[What David and his wife did was personal. It shouldn’t drag the company down. Your attitude is solid. I’ll support your products from now on.]
[After graduation, I’m applying to Amshien Group.]
[Wait-did anyone notice Joanna’s earlier posts? She was kicked out of the team? And they even calculated food costs with her old teammates?]
The internet went wild.
People online dug into everything like they were using microscopes. Once Joanna posted her announcement, even more attention poured in. Old posts were dragged back out.
And back then, when Lucas and the others kicked Joanna out, they didn’t even try to hide it. They had left clear traces online.
Cedric replied, [I didn’t do anything wrong to Joanna. She cooked for us willingly. We even arranged for her to join Kayden’s team as support staff. She didn’t want to go. That’s on her. She’s only good at cooking. Her combat power is terrible. Her damage output was awful. Why should she take up a spot on our top team?]
Neil wrote, [Cedric is blunt, but looking at the team’s future, we had a real shot at breaking past Chromatic Star and getting into a higher-level university. We had to think long-term. Removing Joanna was part of optimizing the team. What she did before was basically making up for her lack of combat ability. We believe she’s better suited for logistics.]
Lucas commented, [Honestly, Joanna might be better as a celebrity or an idol than as a professional player. That would let her shine more. Nearly three years were wasted. In the final month, I just wanted the team back on the right track.]
Out of the four of them, only Bruce stayed silent.
The other three had all left evidence behind.

Now, those old words had become proof against them.
[So this is breaking past Chromatic Star, and you still failed the SAT?]
[So did these guys team up with Kayden behind the scenes?]
[Only that assassin named Bruce never spoke badly about Joanna.]
[Yeah right. You think he’s innocent? I heard the weapon he uses was a gift from Kayden. Kayden even bragged about it to his followers, saying one weapon was enough to make Dawnbreaker kick Joanna out. These campus idols are just loud show-offs with no money.]
[Kayden’s followers are apologizing on livestreams right now to avoid getting canceled. They’re cutting ties with him and spilling everything. The stream is live at XXXX.]
Trinity High.
Dorm Room 1444.
Bang! Cedric slammed the door so hard it broke.
“Are these people out of their minds?” he shouted. “Why are they blaming us? We were victims too! If it weren’t for Kayden, we would’ve gone to college with Joanna already!”
“No. That’s not true!” Bruce suddenly snapped back, his face twisted.
The other three turned to look at him.
Bruce didn’t talk much. Usually, when he did speak, everyone stopped to listen.
And right now, he looked terrible.
He yelled, almost hysterical, “No. If Joanna hadn’t left the team, we would’ve ruined her summoning circle. She would never have bonded with a contract beast, especially not a humanoid one. That circle cost 1.2 million. We couldn’t afford it. If she stayed with us, she would never have made it anywhere.”
After he finished, Lucas, Cedric, and Neil froze.
He wasn’t wrong.
If they hadn’t kicked Joanna out, she would never have bonded with a humanoid summoned beast.
