She didn’t have time to wonder why Evelyn and Leo were sitting with Scarlett today.

All she could think about was getting out of there as fast as possible.

She hurried into the lobby and almost collided with Jeremiah and Jessica, who were coming in

Jeremiah noticed how flustered Hathaway looked and said in a calm voice, “Where are you rushing off to?”

Hathaway tried to act calm. Tm going to the restroom.”

“The restroom’s over there. Let me have someone show you the way. Jeremiah said, waving a waiter over without much thought.

Hathaway couldn’t get out of it, so she had no choice but to follow the waiter, dragging her feet as she headed toward the restroom.

She lingered in the restroom for a few extra minutes, planning to slip out once the waiter was gone.

But before Hathaway could push the door open, she heard footsteps outside. Scarlett walked in on a call.
