"Is he going to be fine?"

Worried, Pika turned to the two men who had stepped outside the establishment. They looked at him, then exchanged thoughtful glances.

"He’ll be fine," one of them nodded.

Then the other added, "I don’t think the granny is lacking lubricant, seeing as it’s necessary for her business. And as long as Izu keeps his eyes closed, he’ll get through it."

Pika’s face twisted as he darted his gaze between the two men. But who was he to judge? He had left Izu behind as well, not because the woman was a granny, but because he loathed this kind of business to the bone.

"I pray for his soul," he murmured, clasping his hands together before nodding solemnly to himself.

Whatever thought crossed his mind, the others could tell Pika had already justified his betrayal.

With that, Pika hurried off to a corner, rummaging through his bag to check his devices and get to work. The other two watched him briefly before exchanging glances.

Nodding, one of them walked away to scout the area, while the other stayed behind, keeping an eye on the one who left, ready in case they needed to make a run for it.

After all, they hadn’t lied when they said they would act as lookouts.

So while Izu was doing whatever he was doing inside, they would stay alert and make sure everything outside stayed secure.

Inside the establishment, the granny’s old chuckles echoed throughout the room. Izu, meanwhile, stared down at the floor. His face was beet red, not because the aphrodisiac had taken effect, but from sheer embarrassment.

He was seated on his calves with a cushion underneath him, fists clenched tightly on his lap. The tighter he clenched them, the more humiliating her laughter felt.

Izu gulped, forcing himself to meet her eyes. "I’m sorry," he breathed out.

"Oh, don’t be," she laughed, waving a dismissive hand. "It’s been a while since I’ve been so entertained."

"So... that tea?" he asked hesitantly.

"The tea you chugged to help with your erection?" She burst into laughter again, making his face turn even redder. "It was just normal tea. I didn’t think you’d drink all of them just to end up in bed with me. Oh, I thought I’d lost my allure a long time ago, but it seems there are still young men like you."

She propped her elbow on the small table beside her, looking at Izu with amused eyes.

"I feel young!" she declared, cupping her cheek and laughing even louder.

Izu released a long breath, his shoulders sagging. Embarrassed as he was, relief washed over him. He had truly believed she was serious about everything she’d said earlier. It turned out she had only been teasing them for entertainment.

A moment later, Izu reached into his pockets and pulled out what he had. He placed several stacks of bills on the low table between them.
